This is a very touchy subject. In order to debate, rational biases should be put asidet, and people should be open to other opinions without getting pissed. I am a hunter. I believe that hunters are some of the best conservationist. It may sound like an oxymoron, but it's true. We also know more about the enviornment than many "environmentalists". This video portrayed all hunters to be mindless killers. This is only a small percent of hunters. As for myself I have respect for every animal I take

I feel at peace while hunting just like the sight seers described in this video. Its up to the government and biologist to find out how many bears can be killed each year. I understand and feel your pain. Where I live the state allows three does and three bucks to be killed at any time of the season by every hunter. Some ppl take advantage of this and hunt "its brown its down" and now are few deer left with no change in the law. If managed correctly I think hunting should be allowed
The numbers WILL be wrong because the "science" is flawed. As discussed by Dionys De Leeuw the research by government is paid for by corporate interest, and the only statistics that are published will be in support of the rich Americans that come to our province and drop tens of thousands to shoot them. Wake up, BC. Even if you weren't born here, remember why you moved here.
