What you do here is put dispensers in front each of them. Then they can't fire at eachother, because the dispenser is blocking their LoS.

You shouldn't have wrenched the sentry guns in your experiment. The bot's sentry finished building a hair sooner than yours, thus it got in an extra shot and why you failed. Letting them build on their own might yield a more timely result.

I think the test failed because when you placed a sentry, you were not aiming EXACTLY forwards, thus the sentry was aiming to the wrong direction, taking it longer time for it to start firing

wrong, even if he aimed to wrong direction, the bot aimed wrong the same degree opposite direction, so the 2 sentries had to turn the same degree. Thats what bot mimic do

The sentries were aiming each other. The sentry will go after the closest target first, and since the sentries were in front of the engineers, that's how it went.

the sentries take priority, they aim for opponents then buildings/sentries.
