your a fuckin idiot kid, your not supposed to poke at them like that! or hold them with out latex/powder free gloves! or at ALL because it stresses them out. your hands dry there skin out, as well as any bacteria on your hands could make them ill because they absorb everything from there body, even water. Very Nice specimins, couple of things though:

1. You should not wake the frogs if they are sleeping

2. Do not handle them without wetting your hands first. They have very delicate, porus skin and your dry hands can rip and/or damage it.

I have a red eyed tree frog and the temperature that I put it on is 75-85 degrees. I also put the humidity to 75-85. If you do this, your frog should be fine. I also set a timer for the mister to go off at different times of the day. I don't have an American green tree frog so I'm not sure what their temp. and humidity should be.

@rickeyrick12 It's okay if it' a bottom dweller from the same region, like a poison dart frog. It's a bad idea to put a green tree frog in with a red eyed because one could have regional parasitese that it can live with due to immunity, but the other could not and would die.

Hey, nice frogs, but to be honest tree frogs need more plants than that, they wont suffer if you dont, but they will be much happier. They are arboreal like cresties and dont enjoy open spaces.

they are not to difficult to take care of its just a common problem is they wont eat but thats usually only if u have a baby one but every thing else is the basics.. things to climb on, a water dish(no chlorine or any of those harmful chemicals).. temperature 75-80 degrees and humidity is like 70-80 percent
