  • so cool...damn!!

  • great job guys! good job reppin Ethiopia!

  • Like JarJar in StarWars!

  • Ancient egyptians said that they come from of land of Punt, now,in East Africa ,Ethiopia/somalia.Firstly,Egypt was invaded by Persians in -525 before christ, then Alexander and greeks in -333 b-C ,then roman -30 b-christ,then the arabs in 639 after christ .Diodore of Sicile, greek historian wrote that 200 thousands egyptians soldiers come to live in Ethiopia before the collapse of Egypt Empire . East African Tribes share alot of similarities with ancient-egyptians and they are their family

  • @sajokal20 not only are they there family egyptians are originally from ethiopia/somali/eritea

  • @negusjuda it is historically proved :Champollion ,the frensh linguist ,historian said « " The first tribes which populated Egypt, that is to say , Nile valley between the cataract(waterfall) of Syène and the sea, came from Abyssinia. " Champollion-Figeac, "Ancient Egypt", p. 27. ...( Ancient Abyssinia represents now "Ethiopia,Erytrea ,Djibouti,Somalia ) Diodore of Sicilus ,greec historian said in his book "Universal History" that egyptians were an Ethiopian Colony of populating led by Osiris !

  • @sajokal20 That's good you sited these Europeans but what did the Ethiopians say about their history, they know it better then any European. Peace

  • @Zuriash Is it also shameful/insult for other tribes to sing in Amharic which is the case in 99% of the time? Is it a shame for other nationalities to sing in English except the English? Mehamoud, Tehaye, Tilahun Gesese, Helen Berhe etc etc shouldn't be singing in Amharic?? Are they all selling their lemon on Amhara's expense? The answer is NO shame or insult in it at all.

It is a shame/insult for the Western society to allow a 3rd world trash like you to reside in the west? Probably YES!

  • @EthioCaramela , Niger/bitch What cheap stuff have you been smoking lately? It is not OK for whites to sing black as if all black are incapable or dead. It is not OK for white to lead a black Nation. It is not Ok for Christian to run Mosque or vise verse. Lately you bastards try to sing what is not your only for monetary gain or some credit. it is too much exploited that is what we hate. When I am free and feel like it, I sing some old Motown and there is nothing wrong with that.

  • @Zuriash Did you just call me nigger/bitch? Trust me if you stand next to me, you will look like the average gorilla that you really are old tramp. I will leave the smoking part to geriatric nuts like you silly filth..

Your must be the most illiterate, retarded riffraff that ever lived if you think Amharic speaking people shouldn't sing in other languages/style . How about the non Amhara people singing in Amharic which is the case in 99.9% of the time in Ethiopia? Should Amharas be offended ?

  • @EthioCaramela What does any of your examples got to do with this? The issue is music and languages here stop embarrassing yourself. Yes white artists can rap, sing reggae, Jazz, Soul, R & B you name it and it is more than ok retard! How can a white person lead a black nation if he is not from there? Whites actually did lead every single black nation once, its possible. As for religion, totally unrelated to language you dumb ass prick.

  • Excellent job! you can do more!

  • make me so proud..."work" work...and than work some more...lol...love it, all that is missing is me on the stage with ya

  • The best dancers I have ever ever seen girls, Amazing Job!

  • EPPF has attacked a Woyane army captain and destroyed his entire military unit on june 28, 2010 in the northern region of Ethiopia, a place called Tach Armach Woreda. Several weapons were also captured.

According to EPPF, the Ethiopian people have realized that Woyanes will not leave power by peaceful means, and people from all regions continue to join the movement. Woyanes days in power is counted. Victory to the Arbenoshe gimbar.

  • @TeddyReal

You are Eritrean, enjoy the clip or F-OFF!

the more you talk the more we unite.

  • Wow....quite talented. I like watching dancers really test themselves with different dances like this. Really putting on a show girls, you make us all very proud.

  • very nice

  • Chemnerd

because its always u damn amhara who preach about a united ethiopia where everyone is forced to speak ur language.

we hate living in the same country as you bastards. you are sons of derg and sons of the evil haile selasie.

If a tigrian does not continue to rule ethiopia we are out and creating our own country.

  • @AgameListro

you know your clinically insane right?

  • @AgameListro

    1. im not amhara. mom hails from miemesha tigray, my dad from wendoghenet

    2. im oromo/tigray/sidama

    3. my father spent almost seven years in jail b/c of derge, so yeah i guess if being oppressed by a stalinist/totalitarian government makes us their "SONs" i guess.

  • @AgameListro

    4. many of my unlces, aunties and cousins fought vailantly in the beraha....and they fought vailiantly as tegarus who loved tigray and ethiopia,......they didnt believe in that seperatist bullshit your talking about. (RIP guatay atekilti)

stop being so ignorant and presumptive about shit.

this is a beautiful dance and whether they are amharas, tigary, oromo, guragey, silte...etc etc it does not matter they love their country

  • @AgameListro

as so should you, but obviously you do not,. you are a disgrace to all east africans.

  • @AgameListro AgameListro

and i wish you wuold try to create your 'own country" you and which tegdali army? huh, keep your weyane ass in addis, b/c most people in the heart of tigray, (adigrat, miemisha, adwa, etc etc) dont even like they greedy ass weyane's that are capatalizing on the tigray name, but actually doing no kind of economic progress except for their tifozas...huh. sounds kinda like derge to me. i guess you all are their prodigal sons.

  • these girls were amaszing!

  • if they want to deliberate diversity perhaps they should perform more for than 4 cultures. summing up all cultures in to 4 or 5 does not show diversity, there are more than 75 cultures in Ethiopia, as such they should perform more.

  • Stop complaining and do something about it to improve it.

  • you go girls love ya

We had international peace day when I was in high school also and the only ethiopians in the school was me and my sister so we couldnt do much of a performance so instead we had to get mixed with the west africans and did the performance with them as repsenting whole africa but now I wish me and sis has had done what u guys did..Im really proud@

  • do u guys no the name of the song that everyone gets in a circle and says ya-ho for a little bit then starts dancing again? it's an ethiopian dance song and i loved hearig it but i don't know the name cause i'm eritrean.

  • aw man i love this song, we performed this song for our assembly at school and everyone loved it. but we had 5 people, these girls only 3. Kudos!

  • Where can I get this song?

  • These indians are getting down LOL...

  • Indians? lol this fool

  • What are they black????? Because i've heard that alot of times.....

  • You're a royal idiot. I guess the title "ETHIOPIAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION" wasn't clear enough for you...

  • Ethiopian is a nationality....like "brazilian Student Association".......

  • I realize that, being that i am Ethiopian myself and also a member of the Ethiopian Student Association.

  • So you didnt clarify what you are.....Are you an Arab???? Because from some of my research thats what i've concluded...

  • Well i guess when i said "being that i am Ethiopian myself," it wasn't clear enough for you. No, I am not Arab, my parents are full Ethiopian. And to furthur clarify any of your future questions, my parents' parents' parents are all full Ethiopian as well.

  • What "RACE" are you...Im pretty sure if an asian family lived there for 6 generations they would be considered full ethiopians to.....Stop dancing around my question....

  • Okay now you're not making any sense. Either you're Ethiopian or NOT. And did I not tell you two posts ago that I am Ethiopian. What else is there to say??? I don't see how you don't get it... I just really don't see how you can be so confused when it was so simply put: "I realize that, being that i am Ethiopian myself." Ethiopia is located in Africa, therefore I must be African. It's common sense, where is this "dance" that you speak of?

  • If im not mistaked Whites live in africa....that makes them african does it not??? And im American....But im black....So youre ethiopian, white, black, indian or asian...which 1 of these races represents you???

  • are you deranged????

Ethiopians are all "black" in the traditional sense of the word. There are no native africans that are Not black..so this analogy you're making about whites living there is a moot point since their ancestry is most certainly European. So next time someone says they're ethiopian to you, understand that they're NATIVE ethiopiance, hence black...even if WE don't look like African Americans. We're still black!

  • I understand but you guys look to closely related to indians...

  • well there's no doubt we're somewhat related since they're just across the sea from us. but here's the kicker: Soutern (Dravidian) Indiands are by average much darker than us; because the truth is, indiands are descended from Africans that crossed over to asia. Wouldn't you say they're black then? Even if they won't admit it, I'm sure you've seen many of them that are darker than you.

  • Yes i have. The only difference is facial features. Many look like darker mulattoes, well minus the hair...

  • I know I'm not in this but nothing your saying makes any point. Also no true Africans are White. The only true Africans are Black and that includes the so-called Arabs as well.

  • Arabs favor whites...

  • Not all blacks look alike. We speak different languages, eat different foods, have different religions and etc. However we are all still black. There is more to black than just African-American.

  • True, but im still not convinced that east & north africans are black...

  • you are obviously blind blacks come in all shades, colors, hair types, facial features, etc. north africans have a mixture of people but the majority are obviously black since africa is a continent that consists of mostly BLACKS

  • They can be, but since the north and east africans are mixed the name mulatto would fit them, not black...

  • some of the north africans are mulattos yes east africans are not; another thing with mulattos is that the black gene is always dominant therefore you would still be considered black

  • True...

  • yup, don't you think the girls in this vid are black; they are they just have good hair:)

  • No they have different hair, nothing wrong with GOD given hair...And they look kinda like dravidians, almost....

  • well, you should know the dravidians were black look up some of the images of them black with straight hair.

  • I will...

  • understandable but try and understand. Maybe this will help.

First, Blacks aren't just African-Americans nor do they only reside in Africa. Africans traveled and spead all over the world far before record. Look at the native tribes of Samoa, Fiji, Madagascar, Japan ( yes Japan), Fillipines, the Khaleej-Middle East( that dark skin and not the sun trust me) and etc. I could go on forever.

  • Could you tell me more???

  • Sure if you'd like to know? What would you like to know? I have studied this and I total understand your beliefs. I would love to help you out. Just send me a message with whatever information you'd like to receive :-).

  • O ok...let gather up some questions...

  • 2. IN Europe Russians do not look the same as Polish people. However they are all European and white ( granted they are not the kind of Russians who are mixed with Asian or Aboriginal.) I am talking about the blone ones anyway. You can plug in any European country for this. they may be of different culture, langauge and lifestyle but all are white. PART DEUX

  • you made us proud!! than you for that

  • beautiful Ethiopians

  • betam dese yelalL

"TIRU BALE YESTACHEHU"enjie lela men yebalal

    thanks

  • could you please post the soundtrack to this dance?

  • eeee i like how yall think, this shit is raw, cuz in international day, we want to rep ethiopia, but i dont only wanna represent amhara, i also wanna rep all the other reagions of ethiopia but we only get 3mins :( and we can barley fit the amhara dance, so to any ethiopian who comes to see us dance on international day, we're sorry we cant represent other reagions, but it's all gud, we're all ethiopians lolz, ONELOVE

  • Real models for the ethiopian youngsters outside ethiopia.Proud of you

  • 6 years with my Ethio Queen. Try going there and experience the culture. Just go to D.C., Toronto, Seattle, Columbus or Atlanta if you don't want to spend alot of dough. My wife is Tigray but I do really like the Amhara and Oromo styles better.

  • @hm2ski It is so funny. I am Amhara and everyone I grew up around with thinks Tigregna is the best song/dance of them all. But I have met a lot of Tigre people who tell me they can't stand Tigregna song/dance.

  • That was awsome!!!
