  • :) Hello in your channel

  • we fight or we die thats the plan

  • meanwhile garrus is still in some calibrations

  • gonna take a minute to say THANKS for your overwhelmingly positive feedbacks. let me stress again, that my participation in creating this track was very small. it took me a few hours on a otherwise boring afternoon whereas the composers and musicians of the original music spend many days, weeks, months even to produce the building blocks for this little piece of fan "art". and know, let us pray to the gods so that ME:3 may arrive shortly and in unimaginable glory and epicness :)

  • awsome remix. I wish it was on Itunes

  • Will you be doing the same to the Mass Effect 3 soundtrack?

  • If theres a Mass Effect movie, this needs to at LEAST be in the closing credits!

  • Its almost too epic this tune, I keep thinkin of that line from ashley williams, you're standing in the presence of a god.

Seriously though its up there with star wars or superman for the iconic sound that puts you right back where you were when you first heard it.

  • im listening to this as im getting ready to go chill with my gf..all i picture is sheapard saying that badass speech of his :D

  • mass effect 3 oh yeah i buy collectors edition this music feels so epic

  • This is about the most epic remix I've ever heard.

  • I would have to say I like the music for ME2 better, I mean my reason for that is MOSTLY because of its darker tone. Yeah, the techno music and ambiance fitted ME1 but it was the start of the series yes? I'm not sure if techno can fit that darker tone that Bioware was going for when it came to ME2's storyline.

So yeah, Clint Mansell is orchestrating the music? I blame Harbinger... he's always assuming control.

  • I got to thinking about it and it's not just the epic nature of the music, but of the experiences that went along with it. Even now only listening to it I get all the chills and emotions associated with the finale and how absolutely awesome it was. ME3 is my most anticipated game ever, and considering that I've been playing games since the Atari 2600 and the Commodore 64 with it's tape drive, that's saying something.

  • i dont have ps3 but i have high end pc with crysis 2 and mass effect 1 and 2 and pc exclusives like heroes might and magic 6 and many others

  • Way beyond epic, but saying epic reminds of god of war 3

  • i hear this music 21.2012 when i try run fast and escape and stole car and escape 2012 end of world

  • mass effect 3 last fight with this music would be epic and ending shepard sacrifice hes or shes life at end saving earth and galaxy and boss fight is harbinger

  • 2 half life or cod fanboy dislike this music because its more epic music than half life or cod indluding halo

  • Assuming Direct Control of the thump up

  • Oh man. I can't find from what soundtrack the 2:12 part is. Anyone ?

  • Comment removed

  • 7/8 time signiture after 1:15 ftw ;]

  • Disliker, you have changed nothing, you have the attention of those infinitely your greater. that which you know as Nordlycht is your salvation though kick ass music mix. We shall find another way. Releasing control.

  • 1 Person tripped and died on the 'EndRun' of their Suicide Mission. lol

  • This is so badass, in ME3 instead of a collector ship exploding i hope a galaxy explodes :p

  • Precursor didn't like that.

  • ME3 = Nuclear Bomb; for the other games to handle

  • epic, like it as much as the original score.

  • HUMAN YOU CHANGE NOTHING.....YOUR SPECIES HAS THE ATTENTION OF THOSE INFINITY YOUR GREATER......THAT WHICH YOU KNOW AS REAPERS ARE YOU SALVATION THROUGH DESTRUCTION......YOU HAVE FAILED WE WILL FIND ANOTHER WAY.... RELEASING CONTROL>

  • @dfunkers Me: Bitch, I just killed a Reaper with a sniper rifle and slaughtered my way trhough your creepy bug people. BRING IT ON!!!

  • Is good, but the 4:26 minute is extraordinary...

    Cheers.

  • Mass Effect 1 was truly epic. Now, I'm not impressed by it because of how epic Mass Effect 2 was. If Bioware keeps that up...imagine how epic Mass Effect 3 is going to be!

  • 1 and 2 had a different style of gameplay and atmosphere the music complimented really well in both

  • Greatest. Mass Effect. Medley. Of all time!

  • I love the soundtrack's for both games however in my opinion me1 was better because I feel that the whole techno thing suited the series and where its set. Than an overly grand orchestra because it seemed to over the top. ( don't get me wrong I ain't hatin but I just prefer the more crazy disco tech )

  • @DubFreakFreer Yes, I tend to agree. Although I like grand orchestral epicness better (in general), the score for ME:1 DID fit the theme of the game much better. Well.... let's see what happens with the score to ME:3

  • @Nordlycht I agree with both, the techno went well with the epic places you saw in ME1... wheres the grand orchestra stuff goes well with the more upbeat epic battles that take place in ME2

  • @Nordlycht If the trailer's anything to go by, ME3 seems to have gone down the FPS/warzone track. I'd bet there'd be a combination of the epic orchestra and that.

  • @Nordlycht

    Orchestral: soulful and mind-blowing.

    Electronic: pulse-pumping and explosive.

A combination of the two: the greatest music known to man.

  • @Nordlycht Clint Mansell is doing ME3. Ive heard two of his songs: Lux Aeterna, and Escape from Earth. Now he is my second favorite composer. After Martin O'Donnell, and its a close one.

  • @DubFreakFreer I think they both fit the themes in both games... Like gloves.

  • @DubFreakFreer What about the DLC soundtracks for Project Overlord, Kasumi: Stolen Memory and Lair of the Shadow Braker? They're more epic trance than epic orchestral.

  • @DubFreakFreer I agree with you that the first game's music fit the series better, but I feel that the ME2 soundtrack fit ME2 better than a techno-type track would have. ME2 had an overall different feel to it that would have been hard to mesh with a track like that from ME1.

  • @DubFreakFreer Wait a second, you can't seriously think a game where you save the ENTIRE GALAXY is a better fit with techno, as opposed to EPIC-sounding music do you?

  • @TheArbitraryName aha its just my opinion man lol i dunno cause i still think it would be badass if shepherd is walking through lots of explosions firing from the hip. With some dirty dubstep is blasting out. then again it would equally be badass with a slow-mo scene with a grand orchestral playing...... Damn it why dont they do both it would be so goood !!!

  • @DubFreakFreer The Mass Effect 1 soundtrack wasn't necessarily better; it just fit the theme of the franchise better.

Also, the arrangement of the Mass Effect 2 soundtrack is absolutely superior to that of the Mass Effect 1 OST. I like the music, but it was spread too thin; little 2- or 3-minute tracks just don't do it for me as well as 6, 7, 8, or 9 minute tracks do. Sure, the ME2 sountrack had a few tracks that were much shorter, but the lion's share of them were in excess of 5 minutes.

  • Available for download somewhere?

  • @Amargosasun I'm afraid not. But feel free to rip this youtube video! :-)

  • @Amargosasun idk if this helps but keepvid will allow u to keep every vid u want

  • @Amargosasun youtube-mp3DOTorg

  • the music will probably be too epic in mass effect 3. clint mansell is taking over. i kind of hope they keep the themes that jack wall had though

  • Mass effect's soundrack is a masterpiece and this soundtrack makes it justice, well done

  • i found this not at all difficult to masturbate to

  • Hearing this music fills me with fear for Mass effect 3. Jack Wall will not be composing the music for the third title in this epic saga. Instead, Clint Mansell will be assuming control. Can he pull off a score as epic as what was used for ME2?

  • @Stellerman7 I share your concern, though I should point out that Clint Mansell is a highly-skilled composer in his own right. Ever hear of Lux Aeterna? He wrote it out for a film by the name "Requiem for a Dream". Phenominal piece of classical music by any standards. I can't imagine such an accomplished musician delivering something than less true awesomeness in Mass Effect 3!!!

  • @FellFather Oh I'm well aware of his work and I think he is a brilliant composer. Its just a question of if he can create something that fits the mood of ME3?

  • @Stellerman7 I wouldn't say Bioware hired him if they thought he wasn't up for the job. I have faith in him, though. Of course, like you, I'm still going to miss Jack Wall. :(

  • @Stellerman7 what do you think i have faith that he may not be the vanguard of destruction for mass effect soundtracks face it he is now the harbinger of audio destiny

  • @Stellerman7 Correction: Clint Mansell will be ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL.

    Sorry, I had to.

  • @Stellerman7

well......he did the music for Lair of the Shadow Broker.....so I'm gonna give him teh benefit of the doubt for now.

  • @Stellerman7 if anyone on this planet is able to do that...

    ...then it is Clint Mansell.

  • @Stellerman7 dont worry about Mansell... i mean the man who made some of the most terrifyingly beautiful soundtracks like Requiem for a Dream and The Fountain and Moon , hes definately capable of pulling this off, although im still surprised by the fact Wall is not the composer.

  • @Stellerman7 do the words requiem for a dream mean anything come on dont doubt

  • @Stellerman7 Clint Manse- ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL

  • @Stellerman7 me 2.

  • @Stellerman7 He did a great job with Halo, so I have faith.

  • @BlaxicanX martin o donnell did halo....

  • @StellermanIf If you dint already know, ME3's score is being done by 5 different composeres. Clint & Sam Hullic included, plus the people that did the DLC's for ME2!

  • @Stellerman7 sure appears so to me.

  • @Stellerman7 Clint Mansell makes great soundtracks. I bet that the soundtrack of ME3 will be great.

  • @Stellerman7 I hope they play this song when Shepard begins the retaking of Earth.

  • Hooooo my god!!! Niceeee

  • I nearly accidentally disliked this... I have just slapped myself in the face for nearly committing such and atrocity:)

  • How did you get this?!

  • so sad they switched composers for me3

  • @SKoreaClown What!?!?!?!?!? The composers that they have used in the first two games are soooo good, they make epic music.

  • What where Bioware thinking when they let Clint Mansell do ME3 instead of Hulick and Wall?

  • @watchinginaz Best. Death. EVER. I hope they play some Jack Wall at my funeral.

  • Im worried that alot of picks that you made in ME 1 thats not on the Comic for ps3 users will have no effect what so ever in ME 3.

  • @ITZFailGaming: I totally agree with you on that. I've noticed that as games have become more advanced, the music has become much more emotional and story-driven.

  • Awesome.

  • Anyone else scared that ME 3 will be to epic to handle? Like it will be so epic that you will end up exploding when you are playing the game?

  • @watchinginaz Considering that I'm practically shitting my pants right now listening to this epic stuff, yes, I'm very scared of that! Scared....yes....but the PRIIIZZE!

I can hardly contain my excitement for ME3....too bad it doesnt come out for another....checking...328 painfully long days...

  • @watchinginaz one can only hope

  • @watchinginaz sounds like a good way to go out imo. will only explode after we 1000 the game

  • @watchinginaz I just heard that Mass Effect 3 will NOT be powered by Unreal engine, but instead, powered by a drug called Charlie Sheen!

  • @watchinginaz I fear it will be like Dragon Age 2 and not live up at all. That they'll leave me with a half-assed ending and make me throw my controller through my tv screen causing it to explode.

  • @BaneOfLannister *sigh* you negative people, you are all over the place on the bioware forums. First of all the Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises have separate development teams and while DA 2 was a step down from it's predecessor it was still not really a bad game. The development cycle has been similar in length as it was between ME 1 and ME 2. And I doubt the ending will be half assed as it is the end of the trilogy and Shepard's story,

  • @watchinginaz Not really bad? It was completely pointless from start to finish. I still hold hope for ME3 my good man. I pre-ordered because I believe it'll be good. I know they're done by different teams. But the shoe-horning of multi-player smells fishy to me. I just have a nightmare vision of a ten hour single player with a wonky multi-player tacked where you're tasked with the phrase "Finish the Fight...online!" or something equally lame, coupled with a flood of DLC.

  • @BaneOfLannister Well if there is one thing I can agree with you on it is that I am opposed to any kind of mulitplayer being implemented into ME 3. While I am not worried that it would turn into a wimpy 10 hour single player campaign I don't want them using resources and disc space on multiplayer that they could be investing into the single player experience. I still disagree with you on DA 2 but that is a different subject about a different game meant for a different thread.

  • @watchinginaz First off, let me congratulate you on your logic about our disagreement on DA 2. It's a rare thing to see in the slum that is the comment section. Took the words right out of my mouth. I have no problem with a multiplayer set in the Mass Effect Universe, just release it separately, or on a separate disk so its it's own thing. For me it just boils down to hating the hoops EA makes their developers jump through to make a buck.

  • @BaneOfLannister Thanks, I try to be rational whenever I post a comment which isn't always easy on here lol. If they do eventualy make a spinoff game that is multiplayer set in the ME universe I don't have a problem with it but leave it out of ME 3.

  • @watchinginaz You have earned my respect and my thumb.

  • @BaneOfLannister Thanks, you to.

  • @BaneOfLannister And for the record I do agree with alot of the citicisms being said regarding DA 2, it just isn't enough to ruin the game for me personaly.

  • @watchinginaz Put simply, if I had wanted to play Fable, I'd have bought Fable. That's all I'll say on it.

  • @BaneOfLannister Fair enough

  • @watchinginaz lmao, i actually laughed out loud man, that is fucking funny as shit!

  • @watchinginaz it will be...all to worth it....

  • @watchinginaz

You know, they say the world will end in 2012. And a lot of people will play ME3 in 2012. Coincidence?

  • @watchinginaz I'm scared that it will be too epic for Bioware to handle and they might end up cutting corners because EA is breathing down their neck for a solid release date...

  • @ArlEamonAndTheJonas The game doesn't come out until March, it will have about the same development time ME 2 had and it is safe to say that ME 2 wasn't rushed. I get the feeling that Casey Hudson takes too much pride in what is essentialy his baby to let the end of the trilogy be rushed. And before you bring up DA2 remember that Mass Effect and Dragon Age have two completely different dev teams. BTW I still liked DA2 but alot of people that are worried about ME 3 bring up DA2.

  • @ArlEamonAndTheJonas Well it was supposed to release in November, right? Now it's pushed to March. I think a few more months will be plenty of time and no corners will be cut.

  • @watchinginaz i think so, still im a litte concerned that ea will dumb it down togh casey hudson seems realy dead sett on making the game like he wants and his vision made the first two and those where epic as hell

  • @watchinginaz After seeing the trailers i'm worried it will suck. Does anyone else find it looks too arcady now?

  • @Midget5019 I played the combat in Eurogamer. It felt really good and fluid. Similar to ME2s but refined to the standard of GOW if not better. I also had a good look at the progression system and it looks relatively in depth, as does the weapon customisation system. The only thing I cannot comment on is the Story, on which we are relying on BWs reputation (and the multiplayer of course).

  • That scene was one of the most exciting sequences. I was actually yelling "Run!" at that bit.

  • @DooMest Glad i'm not the only one who did that! ;)

  • @sennawazerty I was pretty much like that during the whole mission... specially when it was time to gtfo of that place... I wasn't sure if my Shepard was going to survive... I was like... "come on! COME ON!! RUN!!!"... then when he makes it into the ship I was like "HAHAAAAAA!!!" just amazing!! never had such an experience with a video game before!!

  • @dodavieira Heh. I was chanting mostly in my head something like "PLEASE DON'T DIE! PLEASE DON'T DIE!" or something like that on my first run :D

And when the Reapers appeared. I my reaction simply was "HOLY! F***ING! SHIT! We're screwed!" but I won't regret of blowing that base to hell :D

  • I can't believe that reviewers have not took notice of the epic music in Mass Effect 2. It is some of the best I have seen in a video game

  • @ITZFailGaming oh but they did... it's just that it blends in so perfectly with whats going on in the game that you actually see the whole thing as one a piece when it's happening... then when you stop to think about and want to relive the moment, you think of the music that replays over and over in your head... amazing franchise! 2 thumbs up to Jack Wall and the Bioware crew!!

  • @ITZFailGaming I'm not sure you can see music but I get what you mean. :)

  • @ITZFailGaming Clint Mansell has big shoes to fill? Yeah, maybe titanic boots.

  • @ITZFailGaming Try Shadow of the Collosus

    Bastion

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

for the best music ever made in games, and if you want I can name off the best ones

  • @CorrinMovies Oh my god the bastion soundtrack is incredible :)

  • Very well done!

  • this is great!

  • Excellent, sounds like credit's music. Great job!

  • I kind of like this one over the original track but I still love them both xD

  • Nice song

  • Kickass track. Love the original that's in the game but it's far too short considerin' how good it is.

  • having a blast =))
