This is a show I saw four times -- three previews and what turned out be closing and opening night. It was too long in previews, and rather than cut it, the producers decided to speed certain musical numbers up to same time -- causing one song to be sung so fast that one critic said it was the first musical to suffer a nervous breakdown. I still thought it had a great score, wonderful cast, and some truly memorable -- in a good way -- momoents.
