This Tenor is really really good!! WOW !!! So smooth and powerful. He's able to take his time with the hymn and let it just flow from the Heart. So beautiful. !! God Bless. I sincerly wish the Byzantine Catholics would finaly make the conversion to Eastern Rite Orthodoxy so much rich and beautiful tradition to share and offer unto God our King.
This is also my Priest Father Mark Leasure I also Sing tenor in our church choir at St. Georges Orthodox Greek Catholic Church in Taylor Pa Father Mark has a great voice and I love to here him sing.Gregory Demetrius Rusnak
Perhaps you never heard of the American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Diocese which was canonized by the Ecumenical Patriarch in 1938, but certainly you are familiar with the OCA which was previously known as the Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church in America (the "Metropolia")
Is it really necessary to post a comment like this? The OCA does not hold a monopoly on good liturgical music. Trust me I know this as a Ukrainian Orthodox who directed an OCA choir for years, and was fortunate to be able to move to an area with a true Rusyn Church. Try to see the beauty of the hymn as done by an ACROD parish.
This chant is prostopinije, the chant used by Carpatho-Russians. Although I don't know which version exactly you are talking about, I wonder if it's the Russian version, which would sound different.
wooow...God Bless you ....that is an amazing hymn.....beautiful....liturgy....there is nothing more beautiful than the praise given to God in liturgy.....btw...where is this?

Who is the cantor? It sounds like Fr. Mark Leasure

Father Mark Leasure is the main celebrant and the responses were led by parish cantor, Raymond J. Mastroberte.
