@lolpolnoob i used to have the same problem you need to keep your steps tight and really work on squeezing tight with your arms legs and core its kinda tuff but keep at it and you can do it
the way i do mine is after you see the sky and you start to see the ground in your perifials then open or split ur legs and touch the foot or toe of the leg you took off with down and then the opposite leg like just after that. hope that helps.

no most likely ur not cuz by natural instinct if u land spinning youll jus collapse onto ur knees....i dnt thnk u could really do anythin horrible to ur ankle on normal btwists...
You normally don't land if you screw up... basically you just fall on your back or spin onto your front and roll off. If you do happen to land it, your right foot normally follows in a 1-2 fashion. I would say this is a pretty safe thing to practice on your own.
