  • 3:39 MINI HEART ATTACK

  • daam campers...

  • forget about the cod games, the only game the comes closest to saving private ryan and band of brothers is brothers in arms. overall this is a top war film, steven speilberg differently did his homework to get this portrayal right

  • Was the guy with the messed-up face dead?!

  • 3:39 That guy's retarded!

  • @OmNomTheFailBeast What the fuck?

  • @berserker276 The guy who took his helmet off

  • @OmNomTheFailBeast I think he's just in disbelief that it didn't kill him.. doesn't mean he's a retard.

  • at 0:52 that guys faced is so messed up

  • i would have ordered all men to fire on the bunkers, especially those who carried bazookas

  • @NakedSnake1836 Really at Omaha there were multiple bunkers allot higher up on bluffs over looking the beach depending on the sector, not the big two bunkers in this movie.

  • @AUG351 Multiple sectors of Omaha beach, Your thinking of Point du hoc

  • @whythewar1 There was ten sectors of Omaha codenamed from east to west named Able, Baker, Charlie, Dog Green, Dog White, Dog Red, Easy Green, Easy Red, Fox Green and Fox Red. Point du hoc was three miles to the west of Omaha taken by the 2nd Ranger Battalion. The 116th RCT of the 29th Infantry Division was to land two battalions in the western four sectors. C company 2nd Rangers was to land on the right of the 116th RCT and take the positions at Pointe de la Percée.

  • @NakedSnake1836 and where did you receive you military training? Playing COD? Show some respect you fucking nerd pussy.

  • @NakedSnake1836 what bazookas?...you the mean the bangalores. anyways I dont think ordering your men to fire onto the bunker will help because the bunker and the mg nest next to it has a perfect view over the allies. of course they could've had air support, but they were heavily suppressed by mg fire.

  • Stop the bleeding! Stop the bleeding! *thwang* headshot.

The largest amphibian invasion in the history of mankind. Absolutely terrifying. My grandfather fought in WWII, he never spoke about it ever.

  • @JerryLewis420 did fight at omaha?

  • @JerryLewis420 did he fight at omaha?

  • 6 people aren't in business

  • so sad. i have so much dam respect for ww2 vets they had it hard.

  • Why did they send kids into war??

  • @10laughungtears im pretty sure if you were 17 or 18 you had to go to war

  • @10laughungtears

Germany was running out of men due to the meatgrinder of Eastfront. But at summer -44 the only kids the German army had at it's ranks were the 17-18 year olds in 12th SS Panzerdivision "Hitlerjugend". It was only at the last months of war that the Germans started fielding the kids at mass in Volksturm.

  • 3:39 i know its a war movie but that part gets me every time... im going to hell for saying that...

  • and that boys and girls is why u keep your helmet on.

  • 3:45 sounded like he got hit by a sniper

  • the bit that strikes me is the bit at 1:46 when hes like "give us a chance"

    R.I.P to soldiers in WW2

  • @Ry4n246 You do know it was a war?.. They wernt spose to give them a chance.. Hence why using bullets.. You cant really say R.I.P to the fallen soliders ofWWII.. Sad as it is, it was a war that did not need to happen. The people who died in the war just need to be remembered as the brave soldiers they were. German, American, European and the Australian

  • @fuglio yeah i know. fair enough on your comment. and that's the exact reason for remembrance day. i did 2 mins silence for it.

  • most teens and kids might think this was cool and awesome and they want to be there but they don't know the real truth....this was hell itself... practicably worser.

what they gone through was more then they could handle. the lucky ones are who died first and quickly.

  • i feel really sorry the 1st that got shot and geting hlep but than blown up

  • Question regarding 1:20 - Do they normally send battalion surgeons in with the first wave?

  • At 3:33 I realize "Wow, they must really love our Country."

  • anyone know the medical term for what they were doing at the end? its like partition or something like that where you decide who to save

  • @TheMossad921 It is called triage

  • @MrRaptor41 How do you know? This is true; if a battelion stormed a position(US or German) and the battelion got slaughtered the Americans let a German Medic get all the dogtags and/or help any wounded. Same with the Germans. And Germans and Japs DID help there comrades, you my friend have a very narrow vieuw of what happend in WWII. All you know is the Allied version of WWII but do you know how the war was in German eyes?NO!it was 10x worse then through allied eyes

  • 1:45 the helmut didnt do him much good did it....

  • @DJSbros ya tos helmuts or not made for high power ammo

  • @xMcLoven More like what rich men get poor men to do for power.

  • @xMcLoven tell me about it when I look at America

  • hard to believe that they called this landing a complete success after watching this

  • @myendoftheline it depends on how you look at it, a complete failure would have been the slaughter of all the troops and a retreat.... The Dieppe Raid by the Canadians was considered failure with no major objectives achieved and 60% of anyone who made it to shore died. The one good thing that came from it was teaching the allies how the Germans defended their shorelines, which they learned and prepared for d-day, the question is was that raid a success or failure.

  • @Baseshocks true but it almost proves how little men in power think of the soldier in the frontline... nobody will ever really understand the horrors but we shouldnt forget what they did

  • after watching this i tried to imagine what it was like for the people that actually fought on omaha beach. i kind of wanted to cry. :(

  • @wheniwasinvietnam yes, it was a very big deal when this movie was released, for veterans who were there, their family's and everyone else. For the first time in history veterans felt at peace in a way to know that people now understand what they went threw in WW2. This movie inspired a generation of people in just about every nation that was involved in WW2 to learn more about it. Think about it before this movie pretty much all war movies were John Wayne like made for pure entertainment.

  • @MrRaptor41 the nazis (spit) were evil the germans werent most of them didnt have a choice although many did agree with hitler the rest were not nazis they only fought cause they had no choice

    good emphasis on that

  • @warguy1945 Lol Hard to not agree with Hitler if you lived in that time...If you country is bankrupt no jobs. and a guy comes and fixes everything gives Jobs, makes Highways. Its hard to say: Fck this guy I dont like him. Also He didnt say in every speech Kill the Jews. He did it like a politician: Tell a whole story around it. The chance that if anyone lived in Germany in that time Didnt support the nazi party is very small, Not to mention you would get privliges if you supported it.

  • 3:40 "Yay I didnt get shot" 3:45 "Dammit"

  • @xMcLoven i agree, but it makes nice filmes and videogames :P

  • pause at 3:45

  • lol in 2:29, when miller sound like he's singing "gather weapons and ammo"

  • @gokucrazy22 how the fuck do you find that funny?

  • @gokucrazy22 it totally does

  • 3:25 Is that a duck call on Jackson's chest?

  • @Offspringdude999 Yeah it definitely looks like it, he was probably a hunter before he got drafted which would explain for his marksmanship earning him his sniper position

  • the medic scene at 1:30 is probably the best scene of the omaha beach

  • we got em back in Berlin, 100 times over.

  • @AlleyCatGhost The Soviets go them back. Also Pause at 2:43

  • @MrWhyispiegood Actually we let the Soviets go nuts on Berlin, read up on it if you don't know about it, we practically gave it to them. And they deserved every bit of it.

  • @xMcLoven not for power... an idea... just an idea...

  • I remember the japanese soldiers were given orders to shoot all those with '+' on their helmets on sight. Its too bad we don't have the german's version of this battle.

  • is this the 29th ID?

  • Comment removed

  • I really struggle to watch this. But its amazing in every way....

I have so much respect for those men its unreal...

  • bravest of men

  • I wouldn't like to have a bath on that beach :S

  • alright simply put...

    WELCOME TO HELLL BITCH!!!!

isnt that what war really is? a hell of death heck i wouldnt blame alot of WWII vets for calling the omaha beach landing a hell

  • @CODplayer227

Oh, and how about those 2 czech soldiers surrendering?

    They have been shot too.

But hey, guess that's just war right.

  • @vegasche1023

Neither one of them. He's talking to the german who just shot that guy lying on the ground.

  • The movie shows us 20 minutes of this...imagine how it was for real, when it went on for several hours before a breakthrough...

  • @biggles1111 I was just thinking about this and i thought, isn't the american army stupid. They implemented no stategies, they could have had snipers picking off the machine gunners from a distance out on boats, they could have held up in there own boats and returned fire with there own machine guns, hell they could have even launched large pieces of cover on to the beach for the soldiers...I don't understand.

They just had them all basically walk right into there death.

  • @HannaTheMovieFTW Snipers require some cover or need to be hidden so not to be vulnerable targets - the boats on which they would have sat on would have given them away to artillery, aircraft, etc. It's hard to shoot from a moving boat against someone behind concrete. Stationary boats is also just absurd, being easy targets while at the same time being terrible platforms from which to fire. Large pieces of cover? You mean like shelling from battleships?

  • @biggles1111 you may laugh and call me stupid but i really thought this was in real time and not sumarized up -_-,how long did this mission take in real live ?

  • @TheAK47striker Well it''s hard to say exactly how long the assault took, the beach was still under fire the following day(s) from long range artillery, and the different breakthroughs was achieved on different locations at different times. I would say at the very least, 6 hours before any major gains could be claimed by the Americans.

  • Im not gonna lie, when they stopped the bleeding and then the guy got shot as soon as they did, i kinda laughed...and felt bad ever since.

I think the german was TRYING to hit him

  • if two pvt. are wounded side by side how does the medic decide who has heath care? Also if i'm a rich sniper how many more bullets can I buy than a poor sniper? I worked hard why should we be issued the same? I mean we should fight like Americans, right? Not Canadians or Germans.

  • 3:44 Isn't that like soldier training 101, NEVER EVER no matter WHAT take off your helmet?

  • It really is a pity we didn't invent the nuke earlier. We could have nuked berlin and the problem would have been sorted very quickly.

  • @astro7894 but you have killed alot of childrens and womens.. who are innocent..

  • @astro7894

Damn right. And why youre at it, we could also nuke Paris, London or New York, eh,

    dumb fuck.

  • @astro7894 Or you couldn't have nuked any country and fought like real men, you terrorists.

  • @astro7894 sure - nuke kids and women wont stop this war idiot.....stupid idiot

    BTW Einstein was german

  • ew the guy at 00:53 had his face blown in!!

  • die american jews! now kill me with the comments motherfuckers

  • "Who's in command here?"

    "You are sir!"

  • 3:42 The 1944 Darwin Awards Winner.

  • at 1:04 you see 2 guys running and jumping to cover and one of them has a plastic cover and at 1:06 hes plastic cover dissapered super fast

  • Some things Amazing quality all due respect to those who came to the passage YouTube

. mg42 can not shoot such a crazy rate of fire without heat the barrel soldiers have just seven seconds to take cover when replacing the barrel itself

Wehrmacht soldiers fired on mg42 firing rate of three clicks of the trigger to get a murderous fire rate

  • were those the rangers or the marines?

  • @matthewjlaidlaw Neither, it was just army, not army rangers, just the army

  • @Jawree1337 They were in fact Rangers. Omaha was divided into ten sectors, codenamed (from west to east): Able, Baker, Charlie, Dog Green, Dog White, Dog Red, Easy Green, Easy Red, Fox Green and Fox Red. The initial assault was to be made by two Regimental Combat Teams (RCT), supported by two tank battalions, with two battalions of Rangers also attached.

  • Every written account says it really was this bad! GODDAMN WARS!And yes there were Canadians, English, Australians on that beach that GODDANMED day. Wish the world would learn. Still....an epic scene!

  • 3:40

guy survives round to the head

    Lucky bastard

takes helmet off in awe and gets sniped LOL

  • 3:56

That is the most manly yell I've ever heard.

  • 1:42 after all that, this happens...

  • "Stop the bleading stop the... CHTUNG... OHHH FUUUCK!!!!"

  • guys i respect the men who fought here but HOLY SHIT. my great grandpa that served on omaha beach told me these words after watching this. "This is fucking rediculous."and then shut off the dvd player. Guys, go watch some real footage of the battle. I mean good lord, they cared for eachother and didnt just fucking grab ammunition off of a dying soldier with his leg blown off. this is just the most exaggerated piece of shit i've ever seen.

  • @jumperdude8108 I talked with a German veteran of the War and he said that this was the most realistic battle scene he had ever seen. Your great-grandfather probably wanted to see John Wayne walking calmly up the beach, putting a bullet between the eyes of every evil Nazi that didn't run away.

  • Thanks for this fantastic video !

  • @cose66 most modern day Nazi's are red necks that want to be bad asses.

  • @dinosaurus1337 And most of them troll about on pages like this.

  • @dinosaurus1337 Nazis are every where in every form. There are White collar business men who share Nazi sentiments.

  • Everyone in the comments section is suddenly a history major..

  • ONE OF THE BEST WAR MOVIE IVE SEEN

  • Did you know the sniper (Jackson) does the voice of Corporal Dunn in MW2?

  • @dmanstheone And is Dale Earnhardt in the TV movie "3"?

  • Best part is when he's like "I stopped the bleeding" and the guy gets shot and he's like

"Fuck! Just give us a fucking chance you son of a bitch! Son of a fucking cock sucker!"

Hell that's what I'd say man

  • @bullmeatt I thought it was Barry Pepper/Jackson who was in that film?

  • what happend to the guys face

  • lol at Vin Diesel " Jesus, lucky bastard" guys head gets blown off. Dude got jinxed big time.

  • The guy that got shot in the head (3:45) is still alive. (3:48) It looks like he's trying to stay out sight of the camera.

  • and all man kind has to do is sit down with his neighbor and say... if we get rid of the rich... we can all be the same.

  • @nothadnotbad yeah we can all be equally poor cause nobody would have any fucking jobs you dolt.

  • @njdevil281 it's spelled idot. get it?

  • I wonder what most ww2 veterans alive today, make of the nazi youth movement in

America, seeing that they fought and watched friends, brothers, relatives die fighting the real reich....

  • @cose66 The probably see them like the kids in the u.s. who sit on their asses and play cod thinking they know what it was like because of video games, only the nazi movement isn't sitting on their asses.

  • @cose66 Most likely despair and hatred.

  • @cose66 what you mean the random neo natzi movements in the south ? there really small arnt they i havent heard of a huge movement yet ,, i woulda had my rubber bullets ready haha

  • @cose66 i wonder what surviving Nazi veterans think of them. now that would be a more interesting conversation...

  • @cose66 you can say that about the American Vets, But I know for sure in my country the UK, did our vets who fought the wehrmacht really fight for what some parts of this country look like today? with home grown muslim extremists preaching hate, and plotting against us, and calling for Sharia law, you have to ask your self did the right side win? If the Nazis had won Europe would be much better today and there would be no muslims who hate our way of life, and 9/11 would have never of happend

  • @WorldFrontlineMedia yes but if the Nazi's won America would not even have a world trade center it would be taken over and most of the world would speak german so all those people who dies in 9/11 would probably not even exist anyways.

  • @cose66 They probably are thinking that they shold have gone to Germany and joined the Waffen SS because if Hitler had won, many of the evil things that are now happening in America would never have happened.

  • @cose66 i wonder what the veterans, who fought and died to safeguard our countries from foreign oppression and the rot of social decay, would think of the nazi movement in our youth, stamping out the corrupt foreigners and illegal immigrants eating away at our once great nations.

i think they'd be proud, knowing we are justified to want to keep our nations clean and orderly, for the families of the people who built and protected the system, not those leeching off it from other countries.

  • @mrRustypotato1

88m Flak cannon VS Airplane = Boom?

  • @mrRustyPatato Mine too.

  • 2:37 If you look a bit to the left after the explosion you can see a wire. Except its hard to see.

  • 2:37 If you look a bit to the left after the explosion you can see a wire.

  • man Medics are badass people. that would be gross seeing all that blood. i would puke

  • ssry i meant 3:31 did the guy get his arm shot off?

  • @MrDante0304 No, a bullet probably hit an artery or vein, and caused major blood loss. The medic was holding him down so he could get the bullet out of him.

  • @MostEpicMango Looks to me more like he was trying to clamp an artery (bright red spurting blood means artery) with a hemostat.

  • @BCOShinsou I dunno. Could be. You sound like you know more about this kind of stuff than I do. You're probably right.

  • at 2:31 did the guy get his arm shot off?

  • at 2:40, i couldn't stand just taking his ammo and leaving him

that always kills me to see that seen

  • did anyone saw a soldier with a ambrala

  • That guy was like Whoa..

    this helmet actually works !

and bam .. is actually pretty lucky to be killed by something you don't know

  • lol 3:45 sucks to be you

  • @MrRanjaw show some respect you pathetic person

  • @MrRanjaw hahaha yea cuz its really fcking funny when a guy gets shot in the head. get a fucking heart you pathetic low-life.

  • I felt bad for sorta laughing at the 3:47 sceen

  • Historians and wwII vets actualy agree this is as close to the real operation overloard landing at omaha beach. At least in any video or film.

  • Hey is that guy at 2:46 the sargeant in Black Hawk Down? Damn this soldier never dies

  • @basspl4y4 He was also the Armory Seargent In The movie Pearl Harbour Damn this guy is in every single war movie I know Lol

  • @basspl4y4 he will die in the end

  • @basspl4y4 yup and hes a photographer for the army in "we were soldiers" and he gets him some viet cong too!

  • @basspl4y4 yup it is, unfortunately he did die in this one in the end lol but i get what u mean.

  • HE STOP BLEEDING *pwnd*

  • I am an Iraq war veteran and when ever I see a WWII Veteran I thank them for their service. My father is also a WWII Veteran who was there during the beach invasions (Omaha beach) I compare myself to my father during his campaign and I will never in this lifetime be equal to his bravery and courage.

  • @halon08

I am so sorry you were made to fight in Iraq. Thankyou for your service, but please speak out so no other young men and women are forced to needlessly give their lives by corrupt, powerful arseholes (who never send their sons to fight in such wastelands as Iraq, Afghanistan or Vietnam)

  • @sawdust534 nah i'm pretty sure they chose not to. if they got captured, the medics would help them if wounded

  • Anbukakashi he wasn't fixing his hair he got shot in the helmet but wasn't hit he took it off in disbelief but that still was a dumbass's move.
