  • I struggle to do these because a only really have nail PAINT and it does not spred in water. Any advice?

  • @snara98 umm... go buy some regular polish LOL?

  • I hve tried and tried and till it doesn't come out right..

  • @FalseHopeGlam Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • Did you know that Claire's has stopped making their mood nail polish? It's really weird! You can only order it online!

  • @milkshake1502 I didn't but that makes sense now why I've seen them on clearance =)

  • Don't take this in a mean way,

But about how much nailpolish have you used/wasted in Water Marbling? ;]

  • @GymnasticsLoverize well, I have enough polish that I've never used up a bottle marbling if that's what you mean - & considering it got me Partnership I certainly wouldn't consider any of it wasted LOL

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues

    Lol, True that...

  • How cute!!

  • like ur videos u would probably sell alot in ur own salon

  • I love this but i really don't see too many different designs being created. Looks like the same design

  • @LovelyTMcG while there are only so many ways to do it, I have lots of designs - check out my star of bethlehem or the valentines hears =)

  • can someone tell me what mood polish is? it's only recently that I started liking nail polish, so I have no idea what mood polish is, could someone tell me?

  • @kilthinian it's polish that changes color depending on the temperature =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues oh, thx!

  • should you use brand new nail polish or dosent it matter

  • @mrsweiro2112 the age doesn't matter, although not every color works =)

  • i am use more china glaze, its very good at marbling

  • those are long nail

  • This is so amazing! I looooove it:]

  • Wow! Is this your hobby ?

  • @hanianiz yes =)

  • which one of your vids is the newest?

  • @peaceluvbiebs123 right now my acid leopard nails you can always see the newest by what is featured on my channel =)

  • can u make new vidios

  • @Naillovers123 ? I never stopped making vids

  • @TheBananaHotdog it just happens sometimes - I think it has a bit to do with how dry the polish is when you dip in, sometimes the design just kind of wraps onto the underside of the nail =)

  • I'm sorry but in my opinion you don't do this very well. Stick to just painting your nails the regular way.

  • @ashley5234 well, your opinion is in the minority LOL & while this isn't my favorite vid it was requested to do one with mood polish & if you look at some of my other designs you'll see why they call me the queen of marbling =P

  • os stoopeb

  • @pokemonlover2345 an orange stick is a wooden manicure tool, basically a long pointy stick like a big toothpick – you can use anything with a fine point =)

  • can you put the filtered water in the microwave to make it room temperature

  • @svhien I suppose, although I think it's a little easier to just leave it out for a while before you start =)

  • wow thats cool

  • @Millie3030 it changes color depending on the temperature =)

  • Im gonna try that I got that purple mood change n im gonna do it wen I redo my nails again

  • the nail polish always dries before i hjave enough time to make my design -____-

  • @biebergurl555 every polish dries at a different speed & those that dry fast just aren't very good for marbling - if you can't work any quicker then you have to find colors that dry slower =) Also make sure there's not a fan or anything creating a draft on the water as that can make the polish dry faster

  • Uh its not working on my phone.but i love your videos i tried doing water marble but i just cant get.but i hope you keep on making more .bye

  • is this normal water ?

  • @ntomphko room temperature filtered water =)

  • i love your nails!!!!

  • Check out our channel! :D

  • Can you do a design with the nail polish from Sally Hanson's Salon line #350 called Hollywood scarlet? :)

  • @awesomebreshow sorry but I don't have that color =)

  • @ycinee we don't get that kind, but you can use any brand although not every color works =)

  • this is really great!! you have enormous talent! the designs look great on ur long nails because you can really see the detail!

  • do you have any emotion in ur voice

  • @alka9neha I'm not going to fake excitement if that's what you're looking for LOL

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues do u allways use sally hansons

  • @sportypwincess no - & in fact only one of the colors in this vid is sally hansen =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues okay also do any other nail polish work like revlon and avon?

  • @sportypwincess you can use any brand of polish, but not every color works =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues thanxx u very much

  • cool- I actually have the Claire's Nail polish you mentioned. Bought it right before the Claire's in my town closed- so now I no longer have access to Claire's merchandise. Have to travel 20 miles to find nearest one.

  • I tryed this and it came out in a clump

  • @NicelleLOVE101 not all colors work, it can take a lot of to find the colors that work well =)

  • Wau, these are so great videos, thanks! I have try these!!!

  • So to do every nail you have to do the process over and over ?

  • @NicelleLOVE101 for this design yes, others you can dip more than one at a time =)

  • hi was wondering could you do a neon vid.!

  • @neesharocky1 I actually already have several =)

  • first of all i love your vids and can you do any christmas designs? :D

  • @pancakes973199 there is a playlist with my designs from the past few year & I'll be doing more this year as well =)

  • Wow ur a geunious

  • ....trying ur technique to see what i can do. Who knows, maybe one day i'll put my outcome on *YOUTUBE*. Thank U for the lesson, cant wait to try it. ;-)

  • Ive looked at so many of ur videos with the marblizing and its very NICE. *u learn something new everyday*. I see ur nails r natural, so r mine but i have a Gel overlay (thin nails). I do my own nails as well and whenever im in the mood for designs i to go for the marblizing but i use drops of polish on my nail in whatever color i choice to use and i use my marblizer (dotter) and go to town. I get alot of compliments because every pattern is of course different. Im really looking forward to.....

  • My nails are short when i do this its to messy or really weird >:( But i love your videos!

  • @crazychick1345 check out my marble on my mom's short nails for some tips for smaller nails - it can still be beautiful =)

  • For me when ever I do that the nail polish would freeze

  • @kikisuite223 every polish dries at a different speed & those that dry fast just aren't very good for marbling - if you can't work any quicker then you have to find colors that dry slower =) Also make sure there's not a fan or anything creating a draft on the water as that can make the polish dry faster

  • hey u should do a zebra marble art

  • @barcelona1fan90 it's on my request list, but usually for an animal print I just use Konad =)

  • are you kidding me people! she has beautiful nails, id like to see most grow nails that long and healthy....I wish i could grow mine like that.I love your tutorials, keep them coming :O)

  • no offense but your nails are very long i think you should cut them good video

  • @samanthadoubleu I like them long =P ... that's like me coming up to you & saying you need to cut your hair or something

  • Hi,umm I get a little confused on the water. Because of the room temperatured water thing, how do u know if it's room temperatured? also does it needs to be warm? and how do u get to make it room teemperatured?I hope u reply back thank you!!

  • @princessblueberry1 room temp is not really warm, it's tepid - you just leave the water out for a while, it doesn't have to be exact =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Oh okay thank you!

  • @catvlntne I'd have a lot of frozen cups LOL. If you really like the design you can let the polish dry in the cup & the whole top will come off as a hard sheet eventually =) or you can dip something other than your nails

  • Cool! I got 2 mood polishes but never wore them on longer nails. I really like the effect on your long nails. It looks gradient or air brushed. I also just watched your nail patch tutorial. Thank-you for saving my nails from being chopped off today

  • Wow that sound really awesome! :D

  • I don't get it, what's the difference between mood polish n sparkly polish? And what is mood polish?

  • @teheeninja123 mood polish changes with temperature - that's why the cooler tips are a different color than the warmer base =)

  • whats an orange stick

  • @KoolKat6256 an orange stick is a wooden manicure tool, basically a long pointy stick like a big toothpick – you can use anything with a fine point =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues ooh ! aha , thankss (:

  • do you only do water marble nails?

  • @edwardishot1816 no - I have several different kinds of videos on my channel =)

  • could you do crackle in the watermarbling??

  • @namorgan555 crackles dry to fast to marble with

  • I have the claires nail polish but it's not as blue as yours. :/

  • @helloitsmeemo All sally hansen extreme wear nail polishes have worked for me and they are pretty cheap, where I live I can get them for $2.50 at the dollar general

  • for those of you just trying water marble dont use a plastic cup because if a drop of polish drops to the bottom of the cup and sits there long enough it will melt/ dissolve the plastic and make a huge mess

  • love it!

  • Thank you SO MUCH for taking your time to show us all how to do this. I just recently stumbled upon your vids today and they're amazing!! Trying this tonight, thanks again!

  • Could you do a video on the best way How to do this on the big TOENAIL? Please...

  • @MsLadyGS sorry but I don't do nail art on my toes & don't have any plans to do pedicure videos - fans have posted pics on my facebook page best advice would be you definitely need someone to help you & guide your toe in the cup =)

  • @helloitsmeemo There really isn't a best brand, every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well – the colors I use are always listed in the information box. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • i would <3 it if you did one of pink and silver can you

  • @sistersforeverize I'll add those colors to my request list =)

  • Where do you get your water??

  • @lovinmytwinz125 from a Brita pitcher =)

  • I'm lovin ur tutorials! I cant believe Im almost thirty n have NEVER seen this done before. I tired this all day n have run into a few issues, worst being I tired this with a styrofoam cup! Ooops! :) big mess.

I was hoping u could answer a question... I used filtered room temp water n only my first polish spreads, no biggie I guess, but my "bullseye" is so small then, n the surface (the first drop) is so sticky that i cant drag the stick thru it, it comes right out of the cup. whats wrong?

  • @delgrossoa It sounds like the polish is starting to dry – you either have to work faster or find colors that dry slower =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues thank you for your reply! You're amazing for responding to all us newbies. :) you're making the world a pretty place! :)

  • How did yu grow your inky that long?

  • @kathyproductionsns I try to keep my nails moisturized, lots of lotion & cuticle oil & I also take a biotin supplement – you can check out my Nail Maintenance vid in the Tips & Trick playlist for my full routine. I do occasionally get a tear or break but you can check out my tutorial on silk wrap patching for how I save those nails =) I do "Naked Nails" posts on my blog every month or so where I talk more about like all the specific products I'm currently using.

  • Can u please do a water marble design using blue and green , sparkle tropical colors ?!?!?!

  • @dinomusic15 I do have a blue & green marble, unfortunately many sparly colors don't work but I'll add it to my request list =)

  • @amylameriweather I just uploaded a polish in motion vid a few days ago, although I haven't had time lately to do a tutorial =)

  • Hello! :) i have seen a lot of your tutorials and i wanted to ask you if you could PLEASE do something that someone with all regular brush nail polishes and only about 2 thinner brush nail polishes and no other nail polish stuff like stickers or acrylic gell or shimmers and stuff, could do pleeeeaaaaaaaassseeeeeeee :)

  • @MANNUbMe well water marbling uses just normal polish, but if you're looking for something more freehand check out my Nail Art playlist =) I'm thinking you mean something like my New Years Fireworks look, which uses striper brushes

  • Its alright dont just do 2 coulors do about 4

  • @CamelWizard101 you can do most of my designs on short nails also =)

  • i dont have tape

  • @theKRMsisters then you're going to be a lot messier, or you can try the vaseline or lotion method although I don't personally recommend it =)

  • @theKRMsisters I don't use tape or anything else. The polish layer is so thin that it comes right off. I just use cotton rounds and polish remover, but qtips work, too. I saturate the round, swipe it over the big areas of paint, then fold it in half and then half again so I can get right around the nail with the corner and edge of the round. When the polish it dry I take a nail brush, soap and water to the fingers to get the remnants.

  • o.o I did not know this existed.. and this is AWESOME!

  • what're the chemical in which the nailpolish drop cover the surface not water???????????????

  • @Mr4ever4never I think you're asking what's in the cup? it's plain room temperature filtered water =)

  • cewl

  • What Are Mood Polishes?

  • @tootie73096 they change color depending on temperature =)

  • How did you get your nails to be so long I don't chew on mine cut them or pick and they aren't long

  • @dancedogdribble I try to keep my nails moisturized, lots of lotion & cuticle oil & I also take a biotin supplement – you can check out my Nail Maintenance vid in the Tips & Trick playlist for my full routine. I do occasionally get a tear or break but you can check out my tutorial on silk wrap patching for how I save those nails =) I do "Naked Nails" posts on my blog every month or so where I talk more about like all the specific products I'm currently using.

  • @SimpleLittlePleasures where do they sell OPI and China Glaze in the USA because im going to Buffalo i i was wondering:)

  • @pinapplefart35 china glaze is available at Sallys & Ulta, OPI is available at Ulta & some Target stores =)

  • its beautiful

  • wow thats amazing but it looks hard LOL i would get SOOO mad and impatient if it didnt go on the wat i wanted it to XD

  • really nc

  • Hi :)

Can you do a water marbling tutorial with polish from a store called del sol? Their polish changes colors in the sun :)

    Thanks!

  • @mrelephanie I don't have any of that brand - not sure if they have that store around here =)

  • @mrelephanie omg i love that brand!! but they stop changing colors aftr awhile

  • whoa awsome

  • Could i use a Sharp Pencil for the stick? I dont have one

  • @Supersport1698 yes, anything with a fine point will do =)

  • what is mood polish?

  • @sillypup12 they change color depending on the temperature =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues dang thats cool i have to get some :D

  • I tried looking on Claire's for that mood polish. The only purple pink one I saw was called Mellow Crazy. Is that what you meant to say, or is it a different one. I'm determined to find the one you used, it's so pretty!

  • @CyanideXsAINT it's a different one, I know they have at least 2 pink/purple versions =)

  • i think i have a bad quality of polish, and it doesn't work :(

  • @TheSunriseEclipse Are you using filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • how do you clean the rest on the cuticles?

  • @TheSunriseEclipse I use a brush dipped in acetone – you can check out the clean up tutorial under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see how =)

  • Is mood polish expensive? where can I but it? Btw I love your videos I think they are the best for info x

  • @walkingonahill the ones are Claire's are $4-5 =)

  • @walkingonahill you can get mood nailpolish at claires for around $6

  • @walkingonahill clairs walmart lot of places

  • @walkingonahill Most "Claire's" stores sell mood polish for fairly cheap. I'm pretty sure they have a Claire's in most malls, so you should check sometime. But you'd have to look at a mall, since (as far as I know) Claire's doesn't have any stores out on their on like clothing stores or restaraunts do. Hope this helps! :)

  • @walkingonahill she said in the video it from claires

  • @jReneee1 you can clean off the skin by dripping one drop of polish & using your stick to spread it all over the surface - let it dry & when you pull it out it will take the skin with it =)

  • Hi Colette ~ Thanks for the info, yes I am using filtered water. Found some short nail marbling on your FB page, love it!!!

  • do we need special varnish ? sorry for my english i'm belgian

  • @belgaportugaisa it's normal polish, but not every color works =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues okay thank you

  • when u first put 2 coats of the purple nail polish, why is the tip of ur nail pink?

  • @stepperz1024 because it's mood polish =)

  • what are mood polishes?

  • @stepperz1024 they change color depending on the temperature =)

  • wow

  • can you use any brand of nail polish?

  • @TheNightcloudHATER for marbling, you can use any brand but not every color works =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Thanks, I'm thinking of trying this.

  • can you please make a water marble tutorial with the colors blue silver and white

  • @moonlightstarkitten I'll add that to my request list, although I do already have one in blue & silver =)
