@glamourennui There is such a movie, kinda, it's called Alexander, it's about historical people (some bi-sexual, some gay), and it was bashed for being historically inacurate and blatantly homo-erotic, despite being very well documented and containing almost no homo-erotic scenes, respectively. In fact the only FUCK in the whole picture was heterosexual and it involved the very sexy and feminine Rosario Dawson. Go figure.

I've seen 1000s of gay movies and a very small few were "just about lust" (unless they were porn/softcore). Maybe you're watching the wrong movies. You can't judge a movie ONLY by its trailer any more than you can judge a book ONLY by its cover.  Sex and/or love is part of ALL human relationships.

It's about love and friendship and the sacrifices people make for love and the bad decisions people make out of fear. It is NOT just a film about sex at all. People make so many assumptions about movies that feature gay men it's so homophobic to assume that because a move involves gay me it will be only about sex. Independently the gay thematic, the sypnosis makes me think that this story is worth it. the gay characters for this topics (help to a loved person, prostitution, feelings dissapointment) only give a plus in the flavour of this movie. Too good
