Ok I think I just got it.. Are you using just plain paper that goes in a printer or photocopy paper.. Like the gloss sheets to print your own images.. e.g. Kodak or HP??
Yes.. Thick white film.. The image does transfer.. But when I try to scratch it off some of it will come off but then leaving my image but then my image comes off as well in spots.. Do you have somewhere I could send you a photo?!? Email?
@gmrose21 A thick white film? Is the image not transferring at all? Are you not rubbing off enough paper pulp under the water? As for your question, everything I used is at 1:12 -- the printer paper I used was generic cheap copy paper from Walmart, nothing special. The brand of gel medium as you can see is Golden.
@gmrose21 Ok.. regarding the paper.. I'm wondering is your paper just plain white paper that you send thru your printer.. paper that you would print anything on or is it actual Photo paper e.g. Kodak or HP?? Thank you for all your help. Sorry if this posted twice.
@kelseyr2 Please tell me what kind of paper you are using?? I've tried this multiple times but My paper has yet to come off as easily as your did once you applied water... Please I'm dying to know..
it's an acrylic gel substance used for changing the consistency of acrylic artist's paints. in Spanish it is called 'gel acrilico medio' ... my guess is that it's the same in italian. you will find in in art supply shops.
by the way , thanks for the teaching Kelsey, I shall have a go when I find the medium

@gmrose21 not photo paper, just plain copy paper. I'm using Georgia Pacific "Paper Made Simple" Copy Paper.

Does it matter what type of Mod Podge you use? I believe I only could find matte.

@LIARheyLIAR let's trouble shoot. I'm using generic copy paper from walmart, nothing special. How long are you letting the gel medium dry?
