@HdeadLife When there is a connection between two or more chinchillas and they form a friendship, it's always very hard and stressful for one to lose the other. Every case is different, and each chinchilla copes with the loss in a different way, so all I can say is to talk to him more and spend more time with him so he knows he's not alone. I hope that helps, if the problem isn't already resolved by now.

My chinchilla always tries to get under the door, but in our house, they door cracks are a lot bigger so he can actually fit. So we have to clog the crack with rags so he won't escape.
