  • adoribable pony but you should be a little more careful with your jumps. they're not that hard to make and it is just so much safer than useing old boards

  • STOP!!!! You are going to wreck a great pony, you're teaching him that he can crash through the jumps! Yes you might think this is great fun to watch but you could be riding over jumps not quite as high but clearing them! Also use jump boots or atleast splint boots, ever thought how much it would hurt running into a plank really fast? Well your pony's legs are bare!!! Also having the planks on the way you have them isn't very visible for the horse, hence he crashed through it! Good pony though!

  • Yea, he's good ... But if you put a rider on him then he deffo wouldn't be able to jump it and at the end of the day, to jump horses, you need to be on their backs ...

  • i dont see why you're getting hate for this? poor facilities? its a sand arena, with plastic jumps, he's not going to hurt himself, and if he didnt want to jump he'd refuse! sometimes i wonder if people realise what they're saying before they say it sometimes! he has some serious scope btw xxxxx

  • cute pony, please be careful. You don't want to loose that talented pony

  • the pony is obviously enjoying himself going over the jumps, or he'd just refuse them. simples!

  • come on people leave her alone the pony is adorable and who cares if they use cones and planks which are way lighter than poles. If he had hit a wooden pole with his nose...!

  • he has good bascule and hes so cute!:)

  • is he a fell pony he looks like a fell. My fell can really jump and straight up, too!

  • you keep on jumping him at 5 ft and you could be at hoysxxx

  • poor pony......and a replacement for poor equipment doesn't have to be expensive. especially when it comes to jumps.

  • omg cutest thing eveer

  • Wow thats some pony! :) Hes soooo cute! And don't pay attention to what anyone else says ;) hes your pony!

  • AW little ponieeeeeyyyyyy

  • proper equipment - yeh thats ok to say if its werent so frickin expensive! people seem to have to be totally rich to be able to do things these days without getting told off. nice improvisation, and the boards were loose and looked light so obvs couldnt have hurt him :) did he clear that 5ft jump completely?!?! thats amazing! and those saying u made him do it? hes doing it freestyle, if he didnt want to jump he would have refused. lovely pony, wanna give him to me? ;) jk xx

  • aww he's gorgeous! I love your improvisation xD

  • I'll admit, this is a great pony. But this is a terrible facility! If I were to do this, I would make sure to have proper equipment. I'm happy the horse was safe.

  • You know when you find a really good video and you dont want it to end but it ends anyways? This is one of them!

  • He has pretty great form over most of these jumps!

Some people only wish their 18 hand warmbloods could do that!

Size really doesnt matter- its the horse's safety and ability that counts. And as for free jumping- if he didn't want to do it it would never happen. He seems perfectly content, and very beautiful :)

  • omg his nose must have been red after that LOL!

  • Thats brilliant!

  • your ponys so cute <3<3

  • what an amazing pony i hope he gets a lot of love and respect! <3

  • for ancestral and instinctual reasons, horses are able to jump very high from a standstill. It is hell on their bodies, but being extremely sore for a few days is better than being dead. This is not something completely outrageous to ask of a pony to jump this high, as i doubt that he jumps this high every day. awesome and adorable pony!!

  • aww poor pony, he looks old and sad.

  • @scillykat

old and sad i dont think so? keep your comments to yourself yea?

  • Please just be careful with your pony. Though horses and ponies do not always get hurt, they very easily can even when they are going willingly over jumps. Grand Prix riders do not school their top horses over jumps that high on a regular basis. Maybe once a week to tune them up, but other than that those horses jump 3' or 3'6. I am sure you care about your pony and do not want him to be hurt by jumping his legs off.

  • @JMURidr2007 once a week IS regularly.

  • awwwwwwwww thats sooooo cute!!

  • Hah that first picture at 1:00 his legs are so tucked in it looks like he as nubs! Hes an AMAZING jumper though!

  • that is amazing! that pony sure can jump! and to everyone else, yeah sure it was not the most elegant jump! but he still cleared it! and i doubt they do it often, it was probably just a one off thing! and it does not matter that they don't have the right equipment but at least there using what they have! if the pony could not do it, he wouldn't! he cleared it! that is amazing well done! cute pony!

  • Oh)so crazy ponyyy :)

  • I'm sorry that i give you guys this comment :$ but you have to watch out with this! Because youre horse can jump over the fence aswell.

  • poor horse

  • Haha this is like when i was free jumping my horse last week he kept knocking the jump then he refused it so i asked him to walk away from it as he was turned away from the jump already and he decided to turn towards the jump and jump it from a stand still and cleared it perfectly XD striding was right and everything for the non stand still jumps too

  • Poor Pony Im surprised hes not gone lame !!!!!!

  • @MrPikaLover agree! :S :O

  • To be honest, this video isn't so amazing, we didn't actually see him jump a big jump and keep it standing, and half of the standstill pictures looked like he would knock it down anyway.

  • Comment removed

  • What is wrong with these jumps? i use these kind of jumps! I see no 'danger' using them! They knock off! how are they dangerous?!

the pony quite clearly was 13.2hh, why would they lie?! and it seemed to have no problem with the height of the jump, so really its none of your business.

Yes it is 5 foot, they dont lie for fun

Honestly, even the stupidest people wouldnt make their horse jump from a standstill, so they clearly didnt.

  • your pony looks alot smaller than 13.2hh

  • shit song btw

  • @Atkina4 who cares.......its just a song?

  • @Atkina4 Who cares? Do you seriously think the whole point of this video is for the song?

  • Cute pony but Im afraid he's not collected over those jumps, keep pushing him like that and you're going to blow out a tendon and if this is how you've been working with him since 2009 i would be shocked to hear he's still sound.

  • as long as the jump can fall when the horse hits it, im pretty sure the jumps are fine.

    .. beautiful horse :)

  • Thats awsome:) x

  • what breed is your pony?

  • cuuuuute poneeeey

  • 1:00 is amazing:).

  • that doesnt look like 5ft to me

  • @rheamul realy did you measure it?

  • @TheEventer98 no, but it doesnt look 5ft

  • Lol at some of the comments on this video :L of course you didn't deliberatly jump it from a standstill?!!! o.O

    Your pony is amazing!!

  • ignore everyone else, aslong as when you hit the jump and it can fall its ok, thats a super pony you've got :-)

    xx

  • @macnchaz ur right about the wings x

  • awwww he's soooooooooo cute do get proper wings though x

  • it looks out of his scope; but at least he seems to do it willingly

  • 0.16, i was like where the fuck the horse gone?

  • it doesn't matter what you use for jumps as long as the pole doesn't get stuck and falls when something hits it.... i use similar things for jumping and it works just fine:)x

  • poor thing.

  • you shouldnt be jumping him that high its really dangerous and those 'jumping poles' you were using werent very safe maby u should get or make some proper ones

  • @19horsegirl its not dangerous to jump high, how will you learn to be a good rider then??

this pony can clearly fly over this jump, so its really not dangerous.

But I get were you're coming from though :-) x

  • @ollyluvsya Just because you can jump high doesnt make you a good rider?

  • @Fr33Dreamz well yes, but jumping high boosts your confidence and you have to know how far you can go

I know it doesnt make you a good rider but it helps. Thats what I meant. x

  • @19horsegirl thats high? some people and there horses jump 9ft and your saying 5ft is to big?! okay...

  • Comment removed

  • Im soooo Jealous :) I wish my ponies cud do that!

  • you dont acutally see him clear 5ft? so blates didnt

  • @M3LTOPAZ No,but there is a picture which shows he 'blates' did.

  • @Kikiggs no there isn't, just because the front feet are over dosent mean the back didnt clip it !?

  • one question, why would you jump a pony FIVE FOOT from a STAND STILL!!??

  • @LucidaTheMare

it wasnt on purpose obv. He cantered to it normally then stoped and then jumped it.

  • i jump 5.5 foot on my 13hh mare named bella but i ahve no videos of her and she is 22 and still jump 3ft i love her

  • he's good at jumping-do you like my 13.2hh coloured mare(she is 10 years old) and she has jumped 1.40 ( 4.6ft) but I have only got a picture of her jumped 1.10 on youtube I can't remember which video that was in though but he looked like he was jumping around .15 which is nearly 4ft!

  • aww cute! that was funny wen he knocked the jump down wiv his nose. mayby try usein poles, proper 1s

  • This pony is SOOO CUTE. AWW,,,bless.

  • I would use poles for the thing he jumps over, but other than that it's a fantastic video :)

As it's not as dangerous, if the pole falls on the floor.

But that pony is incredible :D

  • i think you should get some real poles and standers that if you dont a pony is going to get hurt and sometimes you cant recover a horse so PLEASE JUST GET SOME REAL POLES AND STANDERS A HORSE IS GOING TO GET HURT

not trying to be mean but im doing it for the best of the ponys

  • Comment removed

  • @macnchaz

i think your comment is very true agin very nice pony

  • YES pretty cute

  • thats mean! If you don't have the proper jumps...you should not jump that pony! That is mean that the board hits him in the nose...that makes him scared to jump, thinking something will hit him in the face! Next time don't abuse your animal for a laugh or a good time.

  • How old is he? He's pretty but maybe stay at 3ft size jumps to build up his confidence else he may scare himself....he has a talent ;)

  • thats awesome!! :) just ignore everyone else! sure some proper equipment would be good, but not everyone is a rich snob that gets what ever they want! i say use what you've got!

  • @quinntqt

thank you!!!! i know, if they have money they would :)

  • @quinntqt being rich does not make you a snob :l not saying that the people who said you shouldn't use this are right, use what you've got, but just because you have money and can afford what you want doesn't make you a snob.

  • @quinntqt oh and you dont have to be rich to make safe jumps, you can buy wood at the hardeware store and build cheap but safe jumps.

  • @MisticBlue52 yeah some people can't afford that and dont know how to build jumps, the horse isn't gonna die from what he is jumping over, obviously their make shift jumps aren't that bad, the horse can knock them down, he even knocked one of them down with his nose.

  • @quinntqt just saying for $40 we made 3 safely built jumps with fillers and poles, its not that hard, just look up "how to build jump standards"

  • @MisticBlue52 Yeah, and maybe they should, but honestly i don't think its any of your business, if you don't like the way someone is training their horse, don't watch the video about it, and then you wont have to worry about it :)

  • @quinntqt that is so true that is what we use when we jummp my pony and he is reserve canadian nasinol champ.

  • @quinntqt

Someone agree. no not everyone can afford fancy jump standards and poles i mean heck i cant but i got some lumbar and built proper jump standards and bought cheap, safe, pvc pipes for poles, so it can be cheap to do it just need time to invest which is worth safety

  • @BestBoysLanceAndCash haha. Thats what we did for jumps at first. (:

  • *somewhat

  • @quinntqt i 100% agree!

  • Your going to turn him sour on jumps if you keep putting them out of range and allowing him to hit them like that! Consistently smacking them down will wail at his confidence and you will soon have trouble and resistance! Not to mention 13.2h ponies where certainly not made to jump 5' fences.. they are horses, not deer! Good luck with his joints.

  • Your pushing the pony too hard - use some sense !

  • @617bw dos this horse look like he is being whiped and forced into jumping? i think not so therefor we are not pushing him to hard

  • @robynqq555 - you are not being fair to the pony - give him proper jumps, equipment to work with. You obviously have a very great deal to learn and are not accomplished horse people. You are pushing the pony because he obviously CANNOT do the height you are asking him but YOU keep asking him again and again. Take some lessons yourself and grow up !!!!

  • @617bw

iv to grow up, thats rich coming from the person starting an argument. this was 2 years ago! i stoped going to that yard about 1and a half years ago. I do agree, there should of been better jumps but i was only videoing ha! so maybe you should stop criting people uh?

  • @617bw just because u dont have excellent equipment to work with does not mean these people are not accomplished, in your head clearly people with top of the line equipments and push button ponies are accomplishes then u really dont know what your talkin about :(

  • @XOXLeanneRXOX - Read the other comments - what people are saying is use proper equipment - round poles and ground lines to jump the pony - everyone is trying to look after the pony's safety. Round poles cost very little compared to an injury to the horse - use your common sense before making stupid comments.

  • @617bw its u that is making stupid comments so get your head out your arse

  • @XOXLeanneRXOX - you really are immature - go away - child

  • can i buy him !!

  • @X01littlespit01X

he actually got sold on sorry

  • scruffy little pony :)

  • omg he could injure himself by doing them jumps :/

  • @superduppa1 Any horse can injure itself doing any size jump.:P

  • have you tried riding him over them? and yeah buy some proper jumps they will last ages and be much safer

  • he is so cute! :) but if i were you i would put polo wraps or something on his legs because he hits the poles pretty hard...hes sooo cute though

  • @4evermonticello1999

thanks, i agree. This was years ago and i always have boots on my mare when im jumping

  • is he an eriskay? hes gorgeous <33

  • @AliceeErick im not sure sorry xx

  • haha - I love the clip where he knocks it down with his nose :D.

  • nice, but would have wowed me alot more if someone was riding him lmfao

  • When he knocked the jump with his nose, he was probably avoiding being faulted for it with his legs! lol

  • awwee :)

thats the cutest thing I have ever seen :D

i am blinded by cuteness !

  • that is so dangerour the wood could splinter and cause infection

  • CUTEST. PONY. EVAR.

  • omg this makes me think of my pony crackers he is like 26 years old and he can still jump around 4 ft!!!!!

  • its up.

  • can i use some of these clips? ill give you credit!

  • @tysonrocksmyworld

sure just let me know when the video is up :)

  • @tysonrocksmyworld

    did you use them?x

  • that is really bad for his back it can ruin it. and such a cute pony x

  • he looks like hes 11hh or 12hh not 13.2hh..but oh well nice horse :)

  • look at the photo he has knocked the pole off the top

  • Cute pony :) love his colour!

  • he's gorrrrgeous but please buy some proper wings and poles, those are dangerous!

  • @macnchaz I agree, it looks like an accident waiting to happen. You can build some jump standards quite cheaply. I would just hate to see a broken leg or something. Not worth it in my opinion.

  • @Greeneggsandhamish

Nopee its Park Mains in Erskin :P x

  • i like him ll and im glad that yiu dont use realy post neither do i :)

  • I love that riding ring! With the stone walls at 0.12! It looks really neat :p

  • It does look cool but my horse would go nowhere near it! haha

  • haha, aw shame :( Its really pretty! You should stand him up square beside it and get some mean pics :P

  • my pony is 13.2 and do u live in northern ireland

  • Aww :) nope , i live in Scotland :)

  • he does have a good jump, im just saying its probably not the safest thing to jump without really stadards and poles

  • Awwh, cute pony and a great jumper! =0 My pony is also 13.2hh tall and jumps only 85cm. :D

  • aww cute what kind of pony? thats a great jumper you have!

  • @alyssagirl123456

Im not accully sure :/ he was a pony at the riding school but he had to be worked with before he became a riding school pony .You wouldnt belive that he used to be scared of polls lol

  • @robynqq555 hes amazing!

  • Yeh,he was :)

the riding school sadly closed down and we dont know who has him :(

  • at the 5 foot pat i was like omg that is fricken high for that pony, and that looks lieka 12 hand pony, how tall is he????

  • Yeh He Can Jump pretty high for a 13 somthing pony that used to be scared of polls

  • That pony is awesome;)

  • Yipp , He's For Sale

  • yer but can he do it with a rider thats another matter

  • Yes He Can Do It With ridier But no e at our yard is small enough t jump him that high.

  • I Will Jump Him That Hight x

It Has taken Him 5 mOnths tO Trust Me x

And I Have to dO Other Stuff On Him BefOre We gO That Hight x

We Have Jummped Just BellOw cOne Hight Which I Think Is Pritty gOod x

And Pluse He Is Un Steddy When He Jumps x

  • at the 5 foot thing iwas like HOLY SHIT!

my horse maggie thats only 14.2 hh can only jump 2'6 feet!
