At a fan meet in Orlando two years ago, we were in the VIP room after the regular meet and greet, and the guys who were Blue Men that night went out of character and talked to us, while still wearing the blue makeup. Being familiar with the Blue Man character, it actually felt somewhat creepy, even though we had a quick chat with the same guys right after sound check before the show (then without the makeup).

There are four permanent productions...Boston, NY, Chicago, and Vegas. I've seen the Chicago production 4 times. Yeah, I'm a bit of a fan. LOL Anyway, the Chicago production has 3 sets of Blue Men, and they do hold hold auditions every now and again. They truly are impressive. I'm hoping to see the Vegas production when I go in August.

For anyone who's wondering what the nameplate reads translated from the original language, it says "Tommy & Eenymeeny" (the last name based on "Eeny Meeny Miny Moe").

Voor de Nederlanders onder ons; "Ieniemienie" is (al dan niet [over]duidelijk) afgeleid van "Iene Miene Mutte". Wat dan weer vertaalt naar "Eeny Meeny Miny Moe".
