If u have used the striker u wud see it's not overpowered. I use it with extended mags and damage and there r kills that took me literally 5 shots (meaning 4 hit markers and 5th shot killed). In close quarters, which is the only place shottys can b used, they should kill faster than any other gun because they r MADE for short range in call of duty games! Don't like the striker killing u? Use a fkin sniper and camp.

Yes shotguns are definitley buffed. The spas 12 is now about 1/2 to 3/4 as useful as the mw2 one. Which was insanely strong.

It can kill up to medium range and the amount of ammo and fire rate, along with range are super over the balance standard. and The other shotguns were usable, the usas-12 and the spas-12 are pretty decent. Hopefully AT LEAST they lowered the firerate of the strikes.

I don't think they buffed the rest of the shotguns, I was playin around with them today and it looks like the USAS and KSG act as if they have the ext mags glitch all the time (the shoot 9 pellets now instead of 6), while the rest of the shotty got the glitch removed, so the SPAS and AA 12 now shoot 8 pellets instead of the 12 they used to with the glitch. So unless they improved the base damage of them (which I doubt b/c the spas was gettin hit markers like crazy today) they actually got nerfed

I think that the striker isnt OP, I consider it just straight up better than the other shotguns. Basicly by the time I would be at level 27 I would be at level 17 for the AA-12. I should know since my AA-12 is level 20. The only OP weapons is the type 95 which i think they should swap the damage from that to the m-16. The other is the FMG9's akimbo, yesterday i got nailed down by that while i was at a range of a Assualt weapon. The most OP wep in history was the 1887 before the patch in MW2.

It made PC absolute crap for lag and the shotgun patch appears to have been in the PC version for over a month. When extended mags was patched they buffed all the other ones but did nothing to the striker. My comparison is the PS3 version of the game.

The MW3 patch improves lag compensation, STRIKER NERF, and a buff to all other shotguns. I do not like the striker nerf, I think that the nerf is really STUPID the striker was no op it was just over used. I have used the striker in a few matches I was using extended mags and Damage, and I don’t really think it took to big of a hit in the nerf. With Damage it is still a 1 to 2 shot kill. Please like this and spread it around if you don’t like the striker nerf.
