OK, she gets a B+ for trying. But if you're going to attempt to sing a great song, why NOT do it properly? If not, why even bother?? Y can't people learn to sing properly? What is this half-assed way of 'singing'?  Such a crappy version!!

@mylesag2 Haven't you heard? It's not cool to sing well anymore. As soon as there is any trace of training or effort in your voice your are put in the category of "trying too hard" and immediately associated with Michael Bolton and Mariah Carey. No no no ... now we must have singers who sound like they are sitting on the sofa in their living room, half asleep while singing. "Delicate" and "personal" it's called.

@Nusqual U're hearing HER tone-deaf version. U gotta hear the way the song is really written and the way proper theatre singers sing it. Well, maybe your hearing is as bad as her attempt to 'sing.'

@mylesag2 Why yes, I have heard Clint Eastwood's version. And you haven't heard her recorded version. Which is the one I keep mentioning where you can hear her sing much better, but you don't seem to be able to acknowledge its existence.

Also you seem to be having some trouble spelling 'you.' Problem?
