  • hah, ace was sportin' the black nail polish back in the 70's

  • I remember staying up late after my parents went to bed to see this aired on ABC at 1am and I was only 10yrs old and I just like to shit my pants when I saw this cause this was before Mtv of course and they just didnt have videos of your favorite songs on TV like they do now and I just remember loving KISS so much more than I already did and was glad to see them on TV again as they only had a few apearences prior to that time.

  • Really, who cares... This is classic KISS...

  • Serious BLING! Friggin awesome!

  • The BEST Kiss video ever - Ace's solo in Love Em Leave em pumps!

... Sorry ... Eddie Van Who??? ... Great guitarist, but I think he's borrowed a little from Ace ...

  • 3:25 Hard luck woman

  • I remember staying up to watch this!! Was hooked ever since!!

  • Stanley looks manley in this one...real attitude!

  • Frankenstein machine? (kirshners words on kiss)

  • @1216saab they used the original Frankenstein lighting machine from the original movie for a few shows, but realized that it wasn't safe and discontinued using it.

  • @JENDALL714 Oh thats something I never knew Thanks!

  • Paul Stanley suggested a bridge between the 2nd and 3rd verses of my new released music video. Very edgy and ballsy, no-nonsense rocker. Comments always appreciated.

  • Does anyone know what bass he is playing? He used that one a lot in the early days as well as a Gibson Ripper and Grabber!

  • @godofthunder69 That bass was custom made for Gene by Charlie LoBue. He also made at least three guitars for Paul Stanley: The double cutaway seen in early Kiss photographs (pre-1974), the Flying V Paul used in late '73 - '74, and a crescent moon-shaped guitar, which he sold after he found out it was an "evil symbol" (?). Gene's bass and the Flying V were later stolen from them.

  • @bandit79jun thats because the cresent moon is an islamic symbol and paul is a jew

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOO AWESOME!!!

  • 3 in 1 kiss is show

  • just had a boner

  • ehm

    didt i see

    paul stanley

  • last c omment on kiss ...at least fora a day or 2 thank u u chris for stealing this cassette for me one of my favs much luv cunt

  • LOL ! ! I had to look twice.. I thought Paul had 4 arms for a minute.. Then I realised that Ace lost his Guitar..

  • KISS IS KING

  • 0:45, whered his jacket go

  • if you think tommy and eric are "GREAT' theres no hope for you.theres alot of great musicains for rent out there not alot of ROCKSTARS like ace and peter.

  • kiss is better than pussy!!!

  • @chazenlindo HAHA!! I think that KISS would agree with you.. especially Gene..

  • I am wondering if this version of Hard Luck Woman was the one used on Alive II, since it already had the crowd noise, they might have just said, Let's just throw it on Alive ll. Hard Luck Woman was never played live to my knowledge, maybe one of the early shows during Love Gun show, cannot confirm.

  • 6:16 - 6:33 even ACE! could not keep a straight face! cool as hell though!

  • Is the best group rock on the world!! KISS FOREVER!!

  • Ha gotta love 'em ...

  • super

  • fucking good song.. funny hair style of the announcer...

  • @DAlive8 Most guys had that type of hairdo in the mid-late 1970s - or an afro! The announcer was probably in his 30s or 40s at that time.

  • YEAHHHHHHHHHH.........................

  • Agreed. Just not the same without Ace and Peter. It cant be.

  • @calimar28 I agree, as well! Kiss, in MAKE-UP and COSTUME, IS Gene, Paul, PETER, AND ACE! In my opinion, Kiss, in make-up and costume, WITHOUT Ace and Peter is like the Beatles without Ringo (Starr) and George (Harrison)-and I don't even like the Beatles!

  • Real Kiss. Not todays tribute band formally known as Kiss

  • @wasp1961 MAN FUCK YOU I HATE ALL YOU FUCKIN PEOPLE WHO CONSTENTLY THINKS JUST BECAUSE ACE AND PETER ARENT IN THE BAND THAT KISS sucks THATS BULL SHIT TOMMY AND ERIC SINGER ARE GREAT SO JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP GODDAMMIT. HAVE YOU HEARD SONIC BOOM IT KICKS ASS SO JUST FUCKING QUIT THRASHING ON KISS

  • @powerpound14 The video don't have "tommy or "eric". This is the original tri-state N.Y.C.

  • horrible video, obviously an early music video but its so obviously lip synced...why not just do it live?

  • KICK ASS!

  • 6:22 I think Ace is trying not to hold in his laughter, I imagine he feels somewhat ridiculous right there playing behind/with Paul like that.

  • @FlippedNwO

I love that look on his face...he's like wtf is the point of this guys? Hes goofin around laughin, gotta love the spaceman!

  • Pete's drumming on "Love 'Em & Leave 'Em " is in my opinion one of baddest drum parts in all of Kisstory, and there are a lot of them !! Your the man Peter !!

  • Gene is into it at 5:59! I really love Hard Luck Woman. A great song and shows diversity and the amazing chemistry the group. I am glad Peter got to sing it and not Rod Stewart. Thanks for posting all 3 videos by the way...very convenient for the KISS ARMY!

  • Wow. Thank you for this. Rock and Roll Over was my first KISS record. I got it for Christmas 1978. This video brings me way back.

  • Peter looks mean in 'I want you' .. look at 1:50 .. lol

  • LOVE, LOVE THIS VIDEO - AWESOME

...... 'I WANT YOU' is the best KISS video ever .... from 2.45 onwards ... that's Kiss in the 70's

  • this show used to come on at 1:00am after Saturday Night Live and i would always stay up late to watch it hoping it would be the one with Kiss.

  • Studio version, album version... best album KISS ever made... heaviest... Rock & Roll Over... AWESOME!!!

  • Great videos from the era, but they should have left out the canned audience sounds.

  • Awesome quality ... I remember seeing it as a kid ....

  • 初期の名曲だね

  • Holy cow....they are SO good live....it sounds just like the recording :-)

  • this is playback friend...:) weird that band did this so much back then :O

  • LOL ! Yes...it sure is. What I love the most about lip sync is when the singer is 3 ' from the mic and it still sounds like he is up on it and the level is still the same.

  • @jasaggio i think it is the recording, you probibly said that sarcasticly :)

  • i've got this on one of my vhs tapes another song that shoulda been added to the concept was Hard Luck Woman cause they done those 3 songs in 1 vid.but this is awesome tyvm for posting it...Kiss is was n always will b #1 n if ur down w/ that i've got 2 words for ya....fuck off!!!!!!!!

  • @demon312003 i saw this broadcast on don kirshner's rock concert and thought it was a kiss special!

  • my new and improved KISS channel

    from,

    Tony Aznar

  • so glad you posted this production. This is a great find to me.

  • Thanks for posting this. I've never seen this, and I thought I had seen all their stuff. Kiss at their peak!!!

  • This was a defining moment for me as a teenager. I was already a KISS fan since ALIVE!. But back then, you might only catch a glimpse of the band MOVING every few months - and then you were just left with the memory. Most of us didn't own VCRs then - they were new and VERY expensive - over $1000.00 in late 70's money. A concert promo here and there was the only glimpse until the Paul Lynde Halloween Special - and then THIS. I Still think I Want You is one of the great rock videos of ALL TIME

  • why is it that in every 'music video' style vid gene never uses a pick? in reality, he uses a pick on every song...

    i always wondered this...anyone?

  • Back then (when Gene was in his 20's) he was all about the character of the Demon. He would jump straight up, tuck his feet under and land into a deep squat a couple of times in a row, then bounce up tall and kick a leg out high and begin rocking side to side. When it came to videos he was less concerned about looking like he was really playing, more about looking monstrous. Sideways swaying, grabbing at the strings made him look more like an attacking monster, think King Kong or Godzilla.

  • @heavymetalhead420 I have no idea, it can't be to look better since he looks cooler with a pick. Maybe he just doesn't want to bring any picks when he's not gonna play for real?

  • @heavymetalhead420 he's just that cool, lol

  • @heavymetalhead420 ?????????????

  • @heavymetalhead420 to show hes miming ..

  • @heavymetalhead420 because this is playback, he doesn't "need" a pick

  • @heavymetalhead420 LOOKS COOLER!

  • @heavymetalhead420 a guitar pick u mean?

  • @heavymetalhead420 because he is probably not good enough to use fingers live xD

  • @heavymetalhead420 Gene is very insecure about his bass playing skills. He is actually a guitar player by trade, not a bass player. He has written and played many famous KISS songs on guitar. When videos are made, he ditches the pick to look like he's a better bass player than he is.

  • @heavymetalhead420 : Maybe cos these are the only times Gene can pretend to be a genuine bass-player? (just kidding, I love Kiss)

  • Great find. The crowd noise they randomly insert is pretty funny (since this is obviously not a real concert).
