Nowadays, instead of Whitney, they would have used someone overblown auto tuned diva that couldn't act. Im glad this movie came out when it did...good cast. I can't imagine what this would have been like with Robert Patterson and Jennifer Hudson or some shit like that...

I have watched the ending of Casablanca and this film's but i think this beats it. Hard call to make but Casablanca doesnt make me emotional but this ending does. Its full of too much Pathos + Whitney is the Queen of the slow power ballad. Incredible ending always. RIP Whitney

Whitney brings back a time in my life where i felt free and happy and being a grown up for the first time, i remember hearing her at every bar i would go to and she was always on my stereo (yes!! vinyl) and then my CD player. she will always be the antithesis of the greatest singer of the 80's and early 90's. and lets not forget and very talented actress who graced the screen. sad so sad to say good bye to a great talent. good bye Whitney.
