Paul would make a horable president the constitution needs to change, our founders made it to be a living breathing document that would mold and fit the needs, wants, and values of the people in the present not the past. and we should start with a 28th Amendment that severly limits the amount of money contibutable to public elections by big corporations, rich individuals and large unions
how cool would it be if he was elected back in his first attempt?? do you think that he would have had more than 3 terms because of how good a job he would have done? i definitly think so haha

The ASLEEP - will remain asleep forever!!!! STAY IN BED and keep dreaming!!! You want to change the NATION? then WAKE UP and LISTEN to this MAN DR RON PAUL!!!!
Its OK young Ron Paul... in 24 years from now.. in the year 2012... the American People will wake up from our long deep sleep that the government bestowed upon us... we will break records by going to voting booths in hords... lines will wrap around buildings to vote for you... there will be a new invention called the internet.. people around the world will communucate to each other about how much we want you to lead us to prosperity...
Ron Paul has changed - he no longer condones the Death Penalty because it is unjustly applied and it's simply too much power to hand over to the gov't.
@bonnevie9 thats it the entire reason right there huh? well guess what, mexico is not a free market in order to participate in their "free Market" you must purchase a specific licensing for the specific good you are selling and its very expensive and all done through the mexican government. learn your economics
the problem is most of the people RP talk to don't even understand what free market is... if you ask them what is a free market society? they get it all wrong...
@MrSeriouslynot From what I understand, a free market is where there's no government intervention in the market; businesses are free to conduct business as they please. (within reason, of course. not to allow murder, rape, theft, etc.) Is that a free market? Or, are there more/fewer aspects of it. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.
@leeknivek basically a free market is where the consumer is the ultimate decider in what businesses succeed and which ones fail. The consumer and markets determine prices, wages, interest rates etc through supply and demand and other economic principle. The free market is completely void of federal government support or subsidy and therefore prevents the problems we see today like corporatism and government legislation being written to benefit corporate interests. I hope this helps.
In order for Dr.Paul to win, HE NEEDS THE PRIMARY. That's the toughest part.

@8picu Can you define what you mean by "won" in Afghanistan? If we "won", why do we still have troops in Afghanistan? And what does Saddam Hussein have to do with Afghanistan?
I hate to say this, but he was so articulate back then ... and now on TV he comes across as sort of, I don't know, rambling and senile. I hate to say it, I really do.

for those fighting below this comment. please shut up.
2nd. if he were elected it's not like instantly all his policies would enacted and society would spin around on it's head. its taken decades for the country to be turned into what it is. it'll take decades to fix. voting him in will be the start of it and force charlatans to exit politics because people will be more aware and refuse to vote their way anymore. it's the first step.
He must be very healthy. I guess it helps being a physician. He does not look 53 in this video....hell he looks about 60 now when he is 75! He looks so young in this video I was shocked when they said he was 53. Very great man. The Thomas Jefferson of our time.
@electronicoffee And where is your reasoning for this? Huh? You provide no argument but a derogatory slang term. This shows me that you are not intellectually fit to understand what Ron Paul is trying to say. And I make the comparison because I have read some of Thomas Jefferson's writings and quotes, and they mirror Ron Paul's beliefs and feelings. He wants to get back to the Constitution and Civil Liberty and Freedom. What is so "Dumbfuckery" about that?
@KungFuKid1015 WRONG DUMBFUCK. Thomas Jefferson believed in the Constitution. Ron Paul does not. You seem to have missed the #1 point why Ron Paul is anti-constitution. I'll say it SLOWER so you can understand. If he was A CONSTITUTIONALIST then he wouldn't be against SOCIAL SECURITY. THE CONSTITUTION GIVES THE GOVERNMENT the power to enact such programs. The CONSTITUTION gives AMERICA THE POWER to make those programs (Social Security, FEMA, etc.) He does NOT understand the constitution.
@electronicoffee Social Security, FEMA, may be allowed to be enacted, but they are failures! Especially FEMA! That's his point. When was the last time you hear any other current candidate mention the Constitution and giving liberty back to the people? And have a consistent argument for over 30 years? When was the last time you heard of the establishment GOP talk about the Republic? When was the last time we had a president and congress who actually followed the Constitution?

RON PAUL WAS A DUMBFUCK, EVEN BACK IN 1988. He wants to destroy income tax (40% of the national budget), he wants to end FBI, CIA, Department of Education, Women's Rights, Any Kind of Healthcare Assistance (He Lies, VA Hospitals Have AMAZING Healthcare), Food Assistance, He's Anti-Gay Rights (Code Word: Leave It To The States, When It's FEDERAL BUSINESS as a CIVIL RIGHT), He's RACIST ("Blacks Steal Because They Run So Fast, etc."), RON PAUL IS A BIGOT AND A DUMBFUCK.
@KungFuKid1015 WRONG DUMBFUCK. If he was A CONSTITUTIONALIST then he wouldn't be against SOCIAL SECURITY. THE CONSTITUTION GIVES THE GOVERNMENT the power to enact such programs. The CONSTITUTION gives AMERICA THE POWER to make all of the programs I listed below. RON PAUL is ANTI AMERICAN and ANTI CONSTITUTION. He does NOT understand the constitution. He's a wall street puppet and has taken 55 MILLION from wall street since 1989.
@ThatNerdfighter I consider myself a social libertarian, and I think that Bernie Sanders and Ron Paul are the only 2 members in congress worth liking. I vote for our farthest left-wing party, the NDP, here in Canada which politically holds similar views as Senator Sanders, but I could conceivably see myself voting for a Ron Paul. If Paul supported abortion rights, wasn't such a die-hard constitutionalist, and especially if he was an atheist, he would be a dream come true.
@ThatNerdfighter No, it's not weird. You probably just appreciate a politician who's honest about what they believe, even if you don't necessarily agree with everything he says.
Ron Paul is a Independant he is only running as a republican so he has a fair chance in the debates..... Be proud that you want him for president. I convienced my family to vote for this guy. I suggest everyone get those non-voting family members to help vote for this man.
@Travass83 Well, I would just say he is a strict conservative... Meaning he abides by exactly what the constitution says. So he is very much republican, But not the neo-con republicans who rule the party today. Alot of people have a big mis conception of the 'Republican Party' since the bush era's
@ThatNerdfighter Not at all. I believe in some governmental subsidies, but what we have now is a good ole boys club. Check out the film Nullification.
@ThatNerdfighter Its not weird that you like him because he speaks about things that effect everbody on a human level foget about republican or democrat its a human thing now
If we drop the Fed income tax and go with a straight sales tax, it would be the same (and a good thing) as a flat tax, because purchases would be taxed.. and the wealthy make more goods/service purchases in order to maintain their weird lifestyles.
he speaks softly in this haha seems like the only thing that's changed is that he has to had to yell louder and louder over the years... but hes got that yell that makes you want to sit down and look up with a tear in the eye to say "I'm sorry for not listening"
Ron Paul is absolutely amazing. The only guy i've ever seen remain unchanged on his views with proof and he's called every failure that's ever happened in this country. The country should'nt want him to be president, the country needs him for president. Go Ron!!!
I noticed that the interviewer framed a question by saying that Dr. Paul would eliminate the FBI and CIA and that Ron Paul did not correct him on it. Did Ron Paul hold such a view and does he still? Someone asserted to me that he wants to get rid of both agencies and I argued that he would not totally eliminate them but that he would downsize and bring them back into line with constitutional mandates regarding the nature and scope of their missions. Was I wrong? Would he completely eliminate bo
@scburns01 i heard in a different interview when he was asked that, he said he wants the cia for example to stop medling in foreign affairs, but he supports a countries right to gather intelligence, undoubtably the two agencies would work much different under paul.
@jaamman--Hello???!!!!! If your house is burning down stop moving your valuables in and start moving them out! Have you heard of Gold or silver? You should have been in precious metals a long time ago. Look at Gold now. Can you show me a scenario where it could go down?
Wow, just look at his forsight. He said the Soviets are going bankrupt and letting them bail out Mexico would just bankrupt them quicker. Of course we know from history the USSR failed because they went broke.
So I ask the American people why wouldn't you want to have Ron Paul as president when he understands history and can predict future major events over and over again.
awsome, i was 2 when this was made, hes been keeping up the fight for as long as ive been alive, Thank you Ron Paul, everyone talk to your families and friends about Ron Paul, all the time, by 2012 they will be convinced and we can win this with just 1 guy in every circle teaching everyone they know about Ron Paul.
@BudderBreakfast Great! Now make sure you young guys don't do like you did in the last election where you supported him but didn't bother to vote for him. Vote for him in the primary!
Mr. Paul message is the same now as back then..Hmmm, not your typical flip flop politician..He is the man...

2nd. if he were elected it's not like instantly all his policies would enacted and society would spin around on it's head. its taken decades for the country to be turned into what it is. it'll take decades to fix. voting him in will be the start of it and force charlatans to exit politics because people will be more aware and refuse to vote their way anymore. it's the first step.

Ron Paul yay!!!

He must be very healthy. I guess it helps being a physician. He does not look 53 in this video....hell he looks about 60 now when he is 75! He looks so young in this video I was shocked when they said he was 53. Very great man. The Thomas Jefferson of our time.
KungFuKid1015 5 months ago
@KungFuKid1015 Thomas Jefferson would shoot Ron Paul in the face for his dumbfuckery. YOU ARE A DUMBFUCK for even making such a comparison.
electronicoffee 5 months ago
@electronicoffee And where is your reasoning for this? Huh? You provide no argument but a derogatory slang term. This shows me that you are not intellectually fit to understand what Ron Paul is trying to say. And I make the comparison because I have read some of Thomas Jefferson's writings and quotes, and they mirror Ron Paul's beliefs and feelings. He wants to get back to the Constitution and Civil Liberty and Freedom. What is so "Dumbfuckery" about that?
KungFuKid1015 5 months ago
@KungFuKid1015 WRONG DUMBFUCK. Thomas Jefferson believed in the Constitution. Ron Paul does not. You seem to have missed the #1 point why Ron Paul is anti-constitution. I'll say it SLOWER so you can understand. If he was A CONSTITUTIONALIST then he wouldn't be against SOCIAL SECURITY. THE CONSTITUTION GIVES THE GOVERNMENT the power to enact such programs. The CONSTITUTION gives AMERICA THE POWER to make those programs (Social Security, FEMA, etc.) He does NOT understand the constitution.
electronicoffee 5 months ago
@electronicoffee Social Security, FEMA, may be allowed to be enacted, but they are failures! Especially FEMA! That's his point. When was the last time you hear any other current candidate mention the Constitution and giving liberty back to the people? And have a consistent argument for over 30 years? When was the last time you heard of the establishment GOP talk about the Republic? When was the last time we had a president and congress who actually followed the Constitution?

It's not enough to say "Vote Ron Paul"
PEOPLE NEED TO SWITCH PARTIES 12 WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF THE PRIMARIES IN MOST STATES.
IF YOU DO NOT SWITCH IN TIME YOU CANNOT VOTE IN PRIMARY.
IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED REPUBLICAN YOU CANNOT VOTE IN PRIMARY.
IF RON PAUL DOES NOT WIN PRIMARY, NO GENERAL ELECTION ! REGISTER AS A REPUBLICAN. FIND OUT WHEN YOUR STATE HAS PRIMARIES. FIND OUT WHERE AND VOTE VOTE VOTE ! PLEASE !
WE NEED EVERY LAST VOTE ! Copy and paste this everywhere

@ThatNerdfighter No your American, real Americans like Ron Paul
MegaMoose98 5 months ago
@ThatNerdfighter I consider myself a social libertarian, and I think that Bernie Sanders and Ron Paul are the only 2 members in congress worth liking. I vote for our farthest left-wing party, the NDP, here in Canada which politically holds similar views as Senator Sanders, but I could conceivably see myself voting for a Ron Paul. If Paul supported abortion rights, wasn't such a die-hard constitutionalist, and especially if he was an atheist, he would be a dream come true.
Gibson29 3 months ago
@ThatNerdfighter No, it's not weird. You probably just appreciate a politician who's honest about what they believe, even if you don't necessarily agree with everything he says.
hpd707 3 months ago
Ron Paul is a Independant he is only running as a republican so he has a fair chance in the debates..... Be proud that you want him for president. I convienced my family to vote for this guy. I suggest everyone get those non-voting family members to help vote for this man.
Travass83 3 months ago
@Travass83 Well, I would just say he is a strict conservative... Meaning he abides by exactly what the constitution says. So he is very much republican, But not the neo-con republicans who rule the party today. Alot of people have a big mis conception of the 'Republican Party' since the bush era's

Would he completely eliminate bo
scburns01 6 months ago
@scburns01 i heard in a different interview when he was asked that, he said he wants the cia for example to stop medling in foreign affairs, but he supports a countries right to gather intelligence, undoubtably the two agencies would work much different under paul.

This same year, Rick Perry was a Democrat and was Al Gore's Texas campaign chief.
