I like these Sims 2 Story games.I'd like if they create more of this kind.I consider that the simple Sims 2 game even with expansion and stuff packs,is such a nuisance.It's more interesting knowing that you have objects to clear and stuff to win.
I like the stories better than the actual game, so that's why I love Medieval. <3 Y'know...just in case I have no idea what to do in the game and I can actually use my imagination xD
And I don't know why , but they never made Castaway for the pc so anyone who wants to experience castaway on the laptop or pc has to get castaway stories. staring at the sky or stargazing in sims 2 also may get your sims killed via meteor
The sims life stories, pet stories, and castaway stories were made specifically for anyone who has a laptop. You can also fit the Sims 2 onto a laptop but obviously The Sims 2 is more for our PC's. The life stories and others can have things we don't have in Sims 2 especially if you don't have all the expansions.
*(well to a certain extent you probably shouldn't try to fit the main game and all of the expansions plus third party mods onto a laptop hahaha)

I use to play this! I actually thought this was a Sims 2 game and tried to download custom content. (it didn't work xD) but it's no different. Playing this is like playing regular sims 2 but without expansion or stuff packs.

This game sucks. Probably the worst out of all the SIms 2 games. If I was buying any of the Sims, I would probably buy the originals Sims 2 or SIms 3.

The thing I don't get is how is any of that different from the main Sims series? And what does "Riley" and "Vince" have to do with anything if you can still make your own Sims and play as them?

the game is different b/c you are given quests. you follow a story line; complete the quests and read the dialogues. its like watching a movie, only you are playing :)

I got this today. Its just like the Sims 2 but you play in a browser window thing so you can go on the internet while you play.
Its really fun and i like the furniture and the houses. the only thing I dont like is the camera options cause its so annoying to move around the screen. but other than that its really fun! :) they should make collections for life stories.

Hi guys! Now, for those of you who want to know, The Sims 2 and The Sims: Life Stories are the same, but the only difference is that one has a Story mode, but the rest is the same! (P.S: The Sims Life Stories is a Sims 2 version designed specially for laptops, it's "laptop friendly")
I've played this version and it is some what different from the regular Sims 2.
Instead of having wants, they have one goal that you have to fill before they get their next goal. Thing is, you have to fill the goal if you want to progress in your sim's life. And you get unexpected things like, with Riley, you have to stop Riley's future husband from marrying someone who's just trying to con him and take him away from Riley. You'll get a whole bunch of different things with this game. Have fun!!
@ConnectedSims23 Oh yes, you're right! They do have 3 wants right under where the goal sits. But once the story is finished the goal than disappears and you have 4 wants. I'm pretty sure there aren't any fears *shrugs* Yeah sure I'll sub you.
God, after having bought Sims 3 and played it I totally forgot about THIS melody/song... It was one of my favorites, if not my favorite, when playing Sims 2. Can someone PLEASE tell me the name? (And yes it has a name, because you can choose to listen to it when playing Sims 2).
The difference is that there are two households in this game that you can play in "story mode." In story mode, everything is preety much predetermined, meaning that you are guided through making friends and starting a life on a storyline. The stories take a goot amount of time to complete, so it keeps you busy. And after the story is done, you can play with the sims as a normal household, or play the other story. In my opinion, it's a fun game, worth buying. I'm looking into the Sims 3 myself...
actually it maybe the same...that's why its called 'the sims'. but its better for the ppl who have laptops,that's one of the reasons why they made this game (Also castaway stories, and pets stories).its a stand alone game (laptop friendly), and it guaranteed to work on your laptop, and not mess it up, so therefore, it is worth the money.

@coralgrl123 she dies and you have the choice to ressurect her and move out in "poverty" or leave her dead and unlock the naomi in stone. choose wisley.. (i suggest "poverty" ur not poor and you still get a better house, i hated vincent's house lol)

Ok so my aunt bought it for me for the computer and I told her my mom wood not let me use her computer to play it so yeah.... My aunt said we'd exchange it for somethn else so I bought the sims2 pets for nintendo DS and it sucked! :P I wish I wood of kept sims life stories I never ever gotta play it I discovered sims by my cousin Celine and it was really fun playing it was like three years ago and idk what it's called and I can't ask her bcus she moved to Oklahoma and she forgot who I was:(

So yea there both "laptop friendly"

@MagicalSimCreator Yeah, they can do that. They just have to be really tired and eating, then they fall asleep. Happens to me all the time. It's kind of annoying actually lol.

Hi guys! Now, for those of you who want to know, The Sims 2 and The Sims: Life Stories are the same, but the only difference is that one has a Story mode, but the rest is the same! (P.S: The Sims Life Stories is a Sims 2 version designed specially for laptops, it's "laptop friendly")

I've played this version and it is some what different from the regular Sims 2.
Instead of having wants, they have one goal that you have to fill before they get their next goal. Thing is, you have to fill the goal if you want to progress in your sim's life. And you get unexpected things like, with Riley, you have to stop Riley's future husband from marrying someone who's just trying to con him and take him away from Riley. You'll get a whole bunch of different things with this game. Have fun!!

@ConnectedSims23 Oh yes, you're right! They do have 3 wants right under where the goal sits. But once the story is finished the goal than disappears and you have 4 wants. I'm pretty sure there aren't any fears *shrugs* Yeah sure I'll sub you.

God, after having bought Sims 3 and played it I totally forgot about THIS melody/song... It was one of my favorites, if not my favorite, when playing Sims 2. Can someone PLEASE tell me the name? (And yes it has a name, because you can choose to listen to it when playing Sims 2).

Sims LIfe stories was my FIRST ever Sims game, it's so painful to remeber about the game it's awesome.
Now my second sims game is Sims 3 :D which is good too

The difference is that there are two households in this game that you can play in "story mode." In story mode, everything is preety much predetermined, meaning that you are guided through making friends and starting a life on a storyline. The stories take a goot amount of time to complete, so it keeps you busy. And after the story is done, you can play with the sims as a normal household, or play the other story. In my opinion, it's a fun game, worth buying. I'm looking into the Sims 3 myself...

actually it maybe the same...that's why its called 'the sims'. but its better for the ppl who have laptops,that's one of the reasons why they made this game (Also castaway stories, and pets stories).its a stand alone game (laptop friendly), and it guaranteed to work on your laptop, and not mess it up, so therefore, it is worth the money.
nd some ppl just like to have a story line already made for them, and some just like the game, period.

@coralgrl123 she dies and you have the choice to ressurect her and move out in "poverty" or leave her dead and unlock the naomi in stone. choose wisley.. (i suggest "poverty" ur not poor and you still get a better house, i hated vincent's house lol)
