  • i wouldn't mind dating at least one girl with asperger's syndrome at all.

  • lawls!

  • This is more of the adhd type of talk, hyper. I have aspergers and adhd this aint aspergers, she displays constant eye contact and uses hand gestures. Theses are the two things I find the hardest in social.situations.

  • Jacklgf - Aspergers isn't black and white. Not everyone shows the same treat to the same degree so even though you may not relate to the particular treat used in the video, me and I bet you many others, do. :)

  • I have aspergers and I get this. I'm like the guy. I attract people who want to talk about their problems and I'm not very good at subtely ending the conversation. I think I attract these people because I try so hard at greeting people because I'm so poor at it because of my AS. I think people misintrep my trying hard as being really interested in them. Neurotpyicals greet each other so skillfully and deftely that this never occurs. Neurotypicals create body language/facial expressions instantly

  • hehë_ÄnY_gúYs_wâñt_tØ_chât_wîth_mê

  • no aspergers here

  • If I don't understand I say something funny, random, or obnoxious which is a lot of the time. It's fun and people get to know you as a "joker" over time.

PS this isn't just an Asperger's problem. Most guys don't want to hear about girls babbling on about their problems. But it pays to pretend if you think she's hot.

  • <.< thanks for the help.....

  • The only excuse for his not attempting to get into her pants is:

    1. he is over 70

    2. he has arseburgers.

  • @justinoz06 There's no such thing as "arseburgers," actually use that microscopic brain of yours, the it's asperger's syndrome.

  • @gamelvr1 arseburgers...LOL!!

  • the only asperger's-like thing about the girl is that she doesnt really notice that the guy really isnt interested in what she's telling

  • @LadyLayla4

That's not aspergers that's most self centered people who just like to hear themselves talk about themselves.

  • adolf hitler have it yo matha fakers

  • @sharafzarok and your point is?

  • adolf hitler have it yo matha fakers

  • Sometimes when people are talking to me I just stare at them blankly and pretend I'm listing, they never notice.

  • I'm confused. Who's supposed to have asperger's? They both seem to make alot of eye contact....

  • @cosmicorder2 I think the guy has it but is good at masking it

  • Lol... I love the guy in this film :) There is no way that the girl has Asperger's syndrome. She's like many young women I know and is 'absorbed' in her social world. The guy is attempting to be polite, and employs a clever means of removing himself from that difficult social situation.

  • 20 dollars a plate, that must be some good food.

  • Its a reversal of Aspergers. He has aspergers but is passing the stereotype in the general world. It actually is very aspergers and rather a clever work of art pushing the condition on the other side but yet confronting the issue of aspergers in his self.

  • I think it was supposed to be Tom who has Asperger's... Krys seemed to act like almost every adolescent girl I've met. Or maybe I'll hazard a guess that this was done for a school project and they didn't do much research. Still, maybe I'll try playing possum the next time something like this happens XD

  • It was the GIRL who has AS because she was completely oblivious to the fact that he was entirely uninterested.

    He was a normal guy.

  • Having this syndrome is seriously a gift, not a deficit. It makes for a unique individual who interconnects with their world in a puzzling way that is terrific because if people were all cut out to be exactly the same, there wouldn't be a need for billions of people to exist on earth....asperger people exist for a reason

  • why would you wan't to run away from her? she had a great story!

  • Urm, I have aspergers, and I dont f*****g stop people in the street to have a chat.

  • @Judes6647

I have it and I try to AVOID talking to people as much as possible!

Hense why I think, if someone in this story were to have asperger's, it's both of them!

  • This is a cute film about the social problem of being stuck with someone who is talking too much. But I don't think it is a good example of Asperger's because the topic of the conversation wouldn't be typical because it was all about a social events.....She also showed a lot of emotion which also wouldn't be really characteristic.

  • So who supposed to have Aspergers here? I'm guessing the guy.

  • Now that's one way to escape, pretending to faint!

  • that guy DOES NOT have asperger's at all. I don't get it.

If anything that girls personality is just plain annoying.

THIS VIDEO IS A VERY BAD EXAMPLE OF ASPERGER'S.

  • If anything it's the girl who's the aspie not the boy. She wouldn't stop talking and wouldn't take the hint when he was getting bored XD

  • If anything, they both have asperger's syndrome.

  • Comment removed

  • The girl is starting to talk non sense. Your walking on the sidewalk minding your business and not expecting somebody will run into you and you have an appointment. Well, she`s wasting your time. Her subject is not interesting. She doesn`t realize or detect that person is not interested of talking to you. I can detect it immedietly. If this person doesn`t want to hear your story . Just stop and leave him alone.

  • That guy doesn't have asperger's. He just gets annoyed at stupid bullshit.

  • No, that girl is exhibiting a classic symptom of Asperger's, which is not being able to read body language and know when to stop talking.

  • @HomeworkHelper1, well if this is true and it's the girl with Aspergers, I have run into many people like this who keep going on and on. But I probably try to look interested so not to offend them and when I get a chance, I make an exit.

  • oh, i see. intense joke then. didn't mean to piss u off. i did enjoy the camera quality. i am a film maker myself.

  • I have aspergers. What does this film have to do with it. No one in the film aside from the name of the film even mentioned the word aspergers.

  • boo hoo man the film was just showing people with light Asperger's how to get away from annowing people that wont shut up and leev mee alown .

  • @Jacklgf If you can identify the signs of AS then you'd be able to tell that it was the Guy who has it. It has everything to do with AS because of the way he chose to handle the situation.

  • @harrihu shows what you know. I have been diagnosed with aspergers.

  • @Jacklgf I have aspergers too this film as NOTHING to do with aspergers.

  • @mustloveMJ119 I concur

  • ok , so im watching this because someone suggested i may have aspergers. I do admit i often dont how to repsond sometimes. But this vidoe seems quite normal to me... i mean how many guys could handle some random woman just stop them on the street and start rambling about some other guy? isnt that just akward for anyone?

  • I really didn't get that it was the guy who had it. I thought it was suposed to be the girl. And I could tell she didn't, so I thought it was some kind of joke made by an NT at our expense. Reading the comens puts a different spin on it, though.

  • that is just like real life, most of the world cant tell if you have AS untill you say something about it. they just think that you are quirky especially if you can function in real life.

  • I have asperger's syndrome. The guy has asperger's, it is very easy to tell. If the title didn't say so, I would not have known. It's a short clip to make it so neurotypical people can relate and understand what happens to someone with asperger's during conversation, be it gossip or small talk, and they don't know how to respond. I don't even know how to look people in the eye correctly and at the right time or where to look at all.

  • that guy was great! loved it - thanks for posting.

  • Einstein had Aspergers

  • shut your retarded whore mouth

  • ... Alexander Bell had asperger's

    Jane Austin

    and alot more...

so, umm... please since you have no use to this world other than to spout harsh obscene words around like a barbarian for no reason.. Id suggest you donate your brain for medial reasearch or climb back into your mother's womb, you mother fucker.

  • @hop1pop how can people know that when asperges came after their time?

  • @yasashii89

from historical documents which describe their behaviour on a day to day basis?

    Hurr Durr?

  • and mozard ,

  • Thats a good defense XD

  • really fuck you you have no idea of what Aspergers's syndrome is....

  • oh yes I do

  • Larry David anyone?

  • Heh, this is genius, keep up the good work

  • The fat guy is hot.

  • I did not catch the point of this video?

The girls starts talking to him and he lay down?

She go to get help and then he walk away?

    Asperger and me?

    Now i am only confused

  • The video was interesting but I think this is basically just someone who is trying to get out of this situation. Basically there are some people you really don't want to hear, but I don't think it is a true representation of someone with Autism.

  • Dude, come on, I think any guy Aspergers or Nerutypical would feel annoyed if the person wasn't that well known started doing that ha ha. They'd stay of course but would they really care since it's some one they barely know? Doubtful. Even people they do know they probably always won't find it that interesting. This can fit to anybody.

  • who is the esperger guy

  • schmooove!

  • Explanation: Krys is being portrayed as having Asperger's. Tom asked, "How's it going?" so she answered him in hypertypical Aspie fashion: a one-sided "conversation" detailing every little thing. It could have been portrayed more accurately, but it does kind of show what you neurotypicals go through when we do that to you.... Of course, I could say more about that but I'm starting to run out of allowed characters (darn these comment size limits!). But rest assured, there are those of us with

  • I think Tom is actually the one with Asperger. One: Krys is shown with the shallow personality that aspies usually attribute to non-aspie people. Especially girls. Also the clip is called Asperger's and Me, meaning how Asperger effects his life. His life as someone with Asperger. It's in the title.

  • I agree with Aspies for thinking that. Most small talk revolves around gossip, style & fashion and random nonsense.

  • I guess you are right. But people seem to need to have a connection with someone, even if it is with someone they barely know or will never know.

Kinda like what I am doing right now. Trying to connect with someone over the internet. The connection is more relevant than the person to whom you connect, really. That is -- I suppose -- why "Youtubers" comment on each other's videos. To see if they can identify with someone. That is a part of socialization.

  • Funny video, but what does it have to do with Asperger syndrome? or is this a film BY someone with Asperger's, but not ABOUT it????

  • He's trying to explain what it's like to have Asperger's Syndrome.

  • No idea what this had to do with Asperger's syndrome...but I'm going to try that next time some bitch is yapping at me about some mundane bullshit.

  • in reply to vikidobe

    not intelligent enough?!

i think you need to do some research because my son has aspergers and he is ABOVE average for his age ( age 8) he is a very intelligent child and if you had researched before making that comment you would know that people with aspergers are usually average or abouve average intelligence!

  • You're an idiot...a lot of people with AS get married before their partners are even aware they have it (since some go undiagnosed). Also, people with AS have normal to above average intelligence.

  • i've been there man.

  • The girl definitely didn't have Aspergers. She was far too social in her chit-chat. That was small talk she was doing and it was thoroughly uninteresting. The guy, maybe... but really I think anybody would want to get out of conversation with that girl.

  • @zurnipturnip

    True

  • I think it was the young with Asperger's. I remember reading about some of the behaviors of people with Asperger's and just walking up to someone you don't even know and start talking and rambling on non-stop about personal stuff or a particular event that the person would not even have the slightest interest. Asperger's just go on and on as if you want to stand there and listen to them all day long. They don't have the slightest idea about how annoying they're being. In short, socially inept.

  • Great vid!

  • This is actually familiar, except for the ending. I went to school with a girl who, like this girl, wasn't picking up on the subtle 'I don't wanna talk anymore' cues and would just continue to talk no matter what. I've seen her twice since graduation, and each time she basically cornered me and spent a half hour each time telling me her life story.

I don't know what this has to do with Asperger's, though, unless it was meant to imply that the girl had it or something.

  • so which one had aspergers?

  • The guy.

  • I don't think this video depicted Aspergers very well but it was fairly humerous. It could have been better considering it looked professionally done.

  • Lmao I thought this was a serious documentry type thing, but i think it was soo funny :P

loads of people just dont know what aspergers is, so like its gonna get judged a lot which is a shame

imma try lying on the floor next time i dont know what to say LOL

  • His FAT ass ain't gon die of old age when she done talking. HE GOIng to DIE OF OBESITY WHEN she is done talking. AT 2:15

  • hahaha this is funny... i think the girl is quite insane LOL well done

  • it looks like non of them have aspergers

  • That was really cute. Great job you guys.

  • "I am going to die of old age by the time she stops talking!"

lol I love how his voice goes

  • not very clear how this is related to aspergers

  • You have no idea what Asperger's is.

  • this was a reply to Kitterit. Asperger people don't have problems tying their shoes. My comment was not about the video. YouTube sucks sometimes/

  • Well said. AS is a serious impairment.

  • what do you shout when you come?

    MY ASPERGER IS COMING OUT!!!

  • Video rating: Hilarious, well done and well said. You get 5 stars from this aspie :-)

  • this is not what aspergers is about making fun of aspergers not good

  • this is fake i hate this fucking show

  • Ha ha awesome, only, again, you don't have to Asperger's to think that way.......

  • it's not what ASPERGER is about |:

  • Well this video seems to show a side to AS that I don't come across. I like trying to talk to people nomatter how boring they are everyone has something to say and have a right to say it. My problem has always been that I don't go with the crowd. Where as NTs need a place in the group. So they will agree with the majority not to get ridiculed I personally do my own thing. If people do not like it thats their problem.

  • im not so sure.. but is it the guy who has an asperger.

  • i know people with asperger's who talk exactly like HER!

  • Nice video, but obviously this doesn't just happen to people with AS. I'm not an Aspie and I get into situations like that all the time. It's just annoying when people that you don't even really know (or wish you didn't know) talk to you and they just won't stop... ARGH!!! I always try to do the same as that guy and act as if I'm extremely busy and have to go somewhere, but that rarely works, because those people don't care...

  • lol "Taco Bell?"

  • LOL. It worked right? I might try that one sometime!

  • I have PDD-NOS, but I SO hate this situation and would probably react the same way! There needs to be a skit about avoiding the person who has a knack for calling at the worst possible time(like at the climax of that scifi movie you've waited three months for, ARGH!)

  • Ok, your method works. But next time, try this out. Just pick up your cell phone and answer "Oh hi, Grandma!" and then quickly say that you'll talk to them later and walk away while having a mock conversation with your imaginary Grandma. Works like a charm.

  • come join our new internet group for aspergers, we just made it and we need members!!!! freewebs (dot) com (slash) aspergerkids

  • Funny stuff. I enjoyed the unique comedy. ^^

  • that was a brilliant video and funny too well done!! x

  • Wow...I don't think those thick bangs look very good on me there. :(

  • If anyone wants help with aspergers, sub to my channel and if I get enough subs, I can really help you and get the work going. So sub to me, it only benefits you!

  • ok, this relates to AS how?

and campbell seemed to kinda mimic either jeffrey goines or one of the brothers grimm there a bit..

  • u need to knw a bit more abt aspergers to understand what this video means

  • ....

yeah, i guess..i can see this sorta thing happen to people with AS all the time (is that it?)

but i'd figure this happens to a lot of people.

  • yeah it dose happen to a lot of people but aspie's tend to find this situation a lot harder cos they prefer to avoid the situation especially if they cant dominate the conversation. most aspie's get anxious if not in control of the convo. my son is the same he will run away from confrontation.

  • No NT guy would hang around to listen to her blabbering. He is an AS guy - he probably doesn't even know who she is, even though she knows him. So he's holding his comments until he remembers who she is and why she's talking to him.

  • I wish people would stop using the word "aspie". It makes you sound cute. You're not cute.

I much prefer the word ASS (Asperger's Syndrome Suffer). Incidentally, I am an ASS.

  • I like this it has humoriest spin about it!

  • I have asbergers. and who has asbergers in that film? you or the girl?

  • lol, why wont she stop!?!!.. "she just kept talking in one long terribly uboken sentence moving from topic to topic...it was really quite hypnotic"

  • I am guessing from this video that the girl is the one with AS. But I have to say this is not a very accurate depiction of people (especially women)with AS.They would be going on & on about something that not very many people are interested in.Also this girl looked a litttle too socially accepted and fashionable for someone who has AS.People with AS do not care about fashion or social politics which she did it seemed. All in all I would say she seemed closer to a cheerleader than someone with AS.

  • I have aspergers and am always worried about matching and other fashions.

  • Great Video, So professional, A+++++.

  • I really identified with this situation. I loved this video, it was very clever and I like how it was put together, too. Very professional. Kudos to everyone involved in the making of this video clip!!!

  • PLEASE do more of these! There is a HUGE need for comedy about this! We have to give Aspies and their loved ones an alternative to all the seriousness about this. It's overwhelming. This is excellent and wonderful and desperately needed!

    Thank you.

    Thank you.

    Thank you!

  • rpaslux, I really liked your post. I found the whole concept of normal people mattering as interesting. They do not matter. Being blind to positive feedback, also includes negative feedback. If one even looked you in the eyes you should be flattered you were noticed.

  • Check out my films - Jack (Part1) and Jack(Part2). They are about my brother who has Asperger's syndrome.

  • Sorry for the mistake. The first one (second in line) was suppose to be a reply for a "jerk" know here, that Ad800, who keeps on saying stupid stuff about Aspies. I may not even really be an Aspie but I know that I hate people that fear the others and try to destroy them. Dont even try that. They wont bother to listen to you anyways.

  • It seems I too have a "mild" form of the spectrum, that was diagnosed at the age of 17 (now 21). And the worst thing is I cant even consider myself a "true" Asperger due to the fact I have no hyper-interest on anything AT ALL ( at least nothing I could put to good use; now I am more of a videogames addict than a real "learner" ).

  • who has the a s dont get it soz

  • me too, which one out of them has AS?

The "uncool" looking guy (no offence, dude) or the "cool" but chatter-box woman who CAN'T READ SOCIAL CLUES that the GUY IS NOT INTERESTED IN WHAT SHE'S SAYING?

Are the AS folk supposed to be "uncool" looking? Or are they talking crap nonb-stop? I don't get this (neither stereotype is true, by the way)

  • lol thanks for ur comment it was strange video thought it was just me who didnt get it

  • good question I recon the woman could be aspie ONLY if she was talking like that about something different. like electro chemistry.

  • naah ... I am an Aspie and I don't ALWAYS talk about electro chemistry ... LOL :-)) I can talk non-stop about stuff I'm interested in and it can be whatever I'm obsessed with at the time.... can be a guy... or can be the REAL history of Jesus Christ... anything! :-))

  • the REAL history of jesus christ... LOL hehehehe!

  • OMG! That is the funniest thing I've ever seen. I have AS too, and I have also been on both sides of this convo. I hope I have a chance to use your solution.

  • i think it´s great.......... congrats!

  • Some of the comments ask what is has to do with Aspergers? I think it shows two sides to this diverse condition: 1. The girl inappropriately discusing personal issues with someone she hardly knows 2. The boy unable to connect with what she is saying.

I have AS and thought it was great.

  • absolutely everything.

  • Lol thats funny.

  • as a 44 male with aspegers i relate to your video

Iam looking for fellow aspies to utalize our unique perceptive views on life to create videos on YOU tube

  • Dude! I am so using that next time it happens to me!

    Thankyou!

  • ok so i dont think the writters of this film actually understand what aspergers is but its funny anyways.

  • sure it does. it understands completely. This vid could be my 6 year old- diagnosed Aspergers. He does this when he wants out of a situation... just lies down on the ground... brilliant and very funny vid...

  • i have aspergers and if i was in this situation i wouldnt be as comfortable as this guy is. i think alot of people would not enjoy talking to someone like this and would try and get away from the girl

  • I aggree with you. I have AS and I'd just walk off - she's off her head

  • Wow, thanks for making this. As a guy with AS, I completely loved it.

  • Everything.

    EVERYTHING.

  • well i'm pretty sure i dont have aspergers and i'm pretty much the same way when yappy people like that talk to me

  • wonderful piece of short filming and the big guy was a wonderful character!

  • cool. how did you get the girl to freeze and the guy to turn around and talk to the camera? what kind of editing trick was that?

  • Ever watch the news? Watch the weatherman. He does the same trick every time he points at the weather maps. :)

  • I don't get it. lol

  • This has nothing to do with Asperger's.

  • Being diagnosed recently, I am sure of myself. Here's my relegation to it's exp.: Like fermat's theorem, interaction w/others doesn't make any sense to me, (what the hell is small talk, anyways?) I know the definition, but it seems purposeless. And going out feels like there's a machingun instead of your heart. Almost feel like dying. But I'm getting the basics fo 1st time now. Remember, we are default talents of great capacity. Sociality is simply another discipline we must master.

  • Hmm, someone with AS who is concerned with relationships, amazing.

  • I have AS and I'm concerned with relationships .... why does this suprise you?

  • How long? You are probably over the age of 20, right?

  • Close, I'm almost 19.

  • When did relationships start meaning something to you?

  • When I was about 16. It may have something to do with thinking in a different way to those around me.
