Respect from Norway! I love Scotland and its music. Ten years ago, when I was four, I lived a year in Scotland. Now I'm 15, but I still love Scotland and I always have :-)

I'm from Germany and it#s a shame for me, that I never set a foot on scottish land.
My biggest desire is to settle down in Alba...maybe on the Isle of Islay or Iona if this is possible.
There is no other country with such a history...
I hope You'll get Your independence soon.

as a 2nd generation immigrant with the given name of Rob Roy & an American, where does that leave me? Shouldn't we belauding the music, scenery & character of other Scots? Instead we have stupid people talking thru their arse & judging races of people by a few. Me thinks they should judge a man by his character, heh, wouldn't look so stupid that way.

God Bless you, I am Greek and Nordic and a bit O'Scott some where down the line, by lineage, a mutt by any standard. But have always admired the Scotts for their love of country and for their bravery on the battlefield. You are the Epitome of what a soldier should aspire to be.

I must admit: i never saw a scott in a ba t tle field with my own eyes. and surely aver the years some storys are told greater then they were. but once a scott told me a scottish regiment was in a battle in india, wich was english in that time. and i dont have to been there to believe the mostly somewhat little asians got frihtened by scotts, with swords as long as the indian soldiers, and the ghostly sound of pipes&drums. i think there was 2-3 times as much indians..and they run away

My Dad is Vietnamese/Chinese and my Mum is British, i have all four corners of british in me so ive been told and my Surnames is English and my great gran surnames was Burns...so that why i know i like bagpipes so much
