I understand the problem atheists have with questioning God's actions, but as you said, that doesn't disprove his existence. What it comes down to for me is this; I am not God. Some of what He does is beyond me.

Why are "Atheist" so preoccupied in convincing people a god they don't believe in, doesn't exist.. ALSO, I find it interesting that Dan Barker begins his talk by qualifying the authenticity of his Christian experience. He says he did everything a REAL Christian does. Only problem is, his faith was based on what he did (works). Friends, that's not real Christianity. That is a man-made religion attempting to be "Good" enough to get to heaven.

He is still very evangelical with what he does now, but it has changed from Christianity to Atheism.

Genesis 6:6 says, "The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain." According to this, God can be sad and I don't think He's happy and sad at the same time.
