I want to know where the Core will be in relation to Earth and the Sun, if the sun is between us and the core, then the storms will be less effective due to the fact that Solar Flares are still effected by gravity, and the gravitational pull will take the edge off of it if we just happen to cross the gravitational plane at that time.
