  • ARNOLD'S THE BEST- he PREDICTED the effects of lifting the President's moratorium on off shore drilling considering the price of a barrel of oil dropped $25 bucks, and then surge to $125 bucks. Arnie is a smartass. That's a Smart Prediction "Blowing smoke up... you know where"

  • I bet Arnie wished he would have waited to see the effect of lifting the Pres moratorium on off shore drilling considering the price of a barrel of oil dropped $25 bucks by the end of the week. Arnie is a dumbass.

  • The oil companies are sitting on nearly 44 million acres of US leases provided to them by the Federal Government. Why are they not drilling there? Too expensive. They want to rob Florida of their pristine beaches. Ever been to Galveston - What a dump! let W go back to his polluted part of the Gulf - Florida's entire economy is based on our beautiful beaches - Don't let Bush win another thing!

  • Because an oil company leased property that doesn't mean there is enough or ANY oil to warrant the expense of setting up drilling rigs. Florida's economy is based on your beautiul beaches? No it's based on tourists coming to visit those beaches and those tourists will be farther and fewer in between with gas prices through the roof. Remember Katrina? There are tons of drilling platforms in the area of the gulf where Katrina went through but where are the oil spills? Quit being so paranoid.

  • There were over 5 million gallons of oil that were spilled during Katrina! It ruined Louisiana's 2.4 billion dollar annual seafood industry for years. The pollution off of the Texas and Lousiana Gulf Coast is atrocious! Why do you think people come to our beaches for Spring Break? T.Boone Pickens has even started to tout alternative energy. Its time we stop pouring money into old technology.

  • Those gallons of oil you speak of were ON-SHORE sources NOT off-shore platforms. It isn't "we" who would be pouring money into old technology it would be private money that would go into that. I have no problem with some kind of reward/prize being set up for new tech developement. Spring breakers will stay be going to FL having an off-shore oil rig 100 miles off the coast isnt going to stop that.

  • John McCain doesn't even let you express yourself on his page. I just tried to comment, and send him a message... and it wasn't going through, I was like wtf?! So I tried to see add his page, and it said I was blocked. He must block people who have Obama on their subscriptions. Yea, some freedom of speech, what a load of crock!

  • I've heard of a load of something and I've heard of a crock of something but I've never heard of a load of crock.LOL

  • Normal price will not slow down, because on base they have interest on production.

2+2=4 today, and 5 tomorow... So where to find de more one dollar?

  • that's my Governor, you tell them Arnold! I know he supports McCain, but at least he calls him out on those issues. Plus, he's married to Shriver, and his wife and kids are with Obama. They even have the Obama sticker on their car. So I actually think he endorsed him out of loyalty to his party.

  • He's offered to be Obama's Energy Czar....very interesting!

  • McCain = millionaires and big business. Obama = working people and small business owners.

  • Oh please it is the millionaires like Arnie here who can afford gas and private planes no matter what the fuel costs.
