  • Nice dude :D But if u ever consider it make the black clouds rain able it woud be cool to actully see the rain coming from a cloud from the sky:P

  • ok, I had this thing, im gonna make a game with a friend of mine, character will propably only be on the ground, will I still need volume clouds (will it look prettier)

  • er... I don't know, depends on how you implement it I guess.

  • If you're just going to be near the ground you can probably use a skydome setup for most of the clouds.

  • Fantastic... Do you get much slowdown close up? I've always found too much translucent content taxes gfx card / 360

  • Yes I do get a small drop, but my card is very poor quality, it can't even handle 32 bit index buffers..

    Seriously though that is one hell of a particle/cloud system, should get some cool planes/ships flying in there...it would kick ass!!
