I got that bass in black. I didn't like the pbass neck so i put a jazz bass neck on it. Love that thing. great cover, I play it differently but it sounds really good (i play the first couple notes of the verse on the g and d string instead of the a and d strings, makes it sound a little nicer

Great cover dude. but some of these comments are retarded. I play bass in a pop punk band, and even though I'm not that good at it, i play a bit of guitar. And if you look back to where punk comes from (ramones, stooges, dead boys, sex pistols) you'll find that a song usually concists of around four power chords, each being played eight times, and the bass mirrors the rythm guitar. And the same goes for pop punk and modern pop music

If anything, the bass is more closely related to the double bass, which (as it was actually originally designed to be played) was to add a greater depth to the harmonic range in a symphony or string orchestra. Using bass rhythmicaly comes from jazz, which is a musical style not a design idea.
