By now I dislike Oliver very much! Always since the Rob thing I find him very egoistic&Christian still wants to be there for his man, no matter how bad O treats him. C only needed time after the Lilly thing, O would not give him that. Then, very drunk C, being totally hurt by O's actions, cheats on him & ever since O shows him that there is no way his mistakes ever will be forgotten. Poor C. This "OMG it's a woman" thing:C is bi&he has not many gays around but many women that want to f*** him.

Man, people's comments are so mean! I choose to continue to adore BOTH characters. BOTH of them have been very good, and BOTH of them have been very stupid. Yes, Christian was unfaithful - but Olli has, during the entire course of their relationship, been controlling and often uncompromising.
I still think they belong together. Why? Because they LOVE each other, and because that love has gone through too much just to fail now.
It all started off so well, I was so happy watching this everyday for the past week, now i'm scared shitless because I don't know what's happening anymore!!! I love Thore, but I hate Christian. Sorry.
I love Christian and Olli, but in the real world, this relationship would not work, since the important things in life (like Olli's desire for children) were never brought out during their courtship. So, when that desire showed itself, its depth swallowed up all the fun and giggles.
After watching this episode several times, I can only come to one conclusion. I think the writers of the show are trying to tell us viewers that Christian fell in love with Oliver Sabel, not just a man, if he can't be with Olli, he can't be with another man, that's why he's constantly cheating on him with the opposite sex. In a way it kinda makes sense, to Christian, its a way of respecting him but unfortunately for him Olli doesn't see it that way... Just my own analytical point of view.

Too late to cry now. At least all the Olli haters can now just appreciate the beautiful blameless, angelic Christian who can never do any wrong and who is never responsible for anything with having to put up with pesky Olli and all his "feelings" and expectations of fidelity, trust and loyalty.
As uset as I am in Christian, I'm even more upset at how little value folks hold for marriage. Something LGBT people have to fight for. Marriage is a sacred bond that shouldn't be treated lightly.
Olli did the right thing. Even if it hurts to admit it. I do love Christian, still do but actions have consequences. I know he still loves Olli and Olli still loves Christian but they are both somewhere where they need time apart to clear and solve what's in their minds before they start with each other.

Wow whenever Christian cheats on Olli, it's always with women. It makes me wonder just how gay he is because he wasn't with any men before he met Olli, he was crazy about women. Goes to show that he hasn't really changed. Olli is the only guy he's been crazy for, but this affair, along with Rebecca and Jessica, confirms he's still the straight guy he was.

I think Christian and Oliver's breakup is more complicated than what people are saying. The whole Lilly thing hurt Christian a lot. Christian feels that Olli controls the relationship and doesn't really regard him as an equal. Sometimes men cheat because they want power to be in control. Olli wanted Christian to become a foster parent for a second time and that was just too much for him. Olli isn't perfect either don't people remember he smashed Christian and Coco's relationship.

I cannot lay blame on Christian or Oli. I am just enjoying the drama and loving the story as I feel frustrated and hope for a really good reconciliation at the end of it. Yes Christian did wrong, I feel not with Jessica though, there is a secret only Jess knows, but Oli too pushed Christian away. Who is to blame. I do not believe in seperations to heal a relationship they never work. Here's hoping for Chrolli again.

Olli finally realized what a liar Christain is since he kept claiming he wasn't into to women. Seeing him slobbing down Theresa in the hallway told Olli all he needed to know and I for one am so happy he saw what he did and then let Chrissy boy know in no uncertain terms they were OVER and to have a nice life.

I took a trip to the past yesterday and watched some old VL stuff and guess what. Olli watched his boyfriend Tom kiss the ex and for consolation he had a few beers and spent the night with Jule, a woman. After some sulking and talking Olli confessed and, believe it or not, Tom forgave Olli. Having this in mind, I find it very hard to fully understand Olli`s behaviour. But maybe the writers don`t care enough to really research a character`s past. I hope Chrolli get back together soon.

I'm sorry - I just don't see how Christian can redeem himself. I feel his character has been totally destroyed by the writers - this is not the same man who fell in love with Olli three years ago and claimed that kiss was never just a kiss.
I know it's stupid - it's just a soap but I feel as if I have been cheated on as well.
@krissiebug it does seem like his character has been ridiculously reckless with his "extra curricular" activities. Such a shame. As others have said, I can't really see how Ollie could realistically get back together with Christian long-term. Sure, maybe they'll have a fling in the future but I these issues would no doubt rear their ugly heads again :(
I don't share Olli's point of view, I'd prefer my partner cheating on me with someone of the opposite sex, because it's harder to compare (and be found as lesser) than with someone of the same sax than me.
Also, you can't push someone away all the time and expect him to return all the time.
That said, YOU can't promise eternal fidelity and then throw it out the window as Christian did. Right now, even if I'm a Christian fan, he's more to blame than Olli.
Did someone post on here that people who choose to get married SHOULD expect that their spouse will eventually cheat on them? That's the expectation they should have? Not anything about love, respect, trust, HONORING their vows?

@JJstrikesback2 I agree with you but I have known a couple of people who have convinced themselves that they weren't gay but that they fell in love with one person. It was an easier way for them to ease into their true sexuality. That being said, I doubt that is what VL is doing with Christian's character.
@nalunelly I'm afraid your completely right. And IMO that's the doom of Christian's character. His continuous sexual indefinition only can end destroying the couple, or the love and trust of Olli. If both came back together again without fixing that, they don't have any future as a couple in the show. And that's tragic because they were our "dreamy" gay couple on tv :(((
I really don't like Christian's behavior lately, but this all started with his sleeping with Jessica (which I still have a tiny hope that it will turn out that he didn't, that Jessica is lying), and after Olli made it perfectly clear that he didn't want to have anything to do with him (the almost-kiss being the most obvious demonstration of this), he is heartbroken. Everyone gets a little crazy when their heart has been broken.. Do I think this is the best way he could handle it? No, but still..

I normally hate soaps espically the spanish ones cuz my mom was always watching them and they became so repetative. But I have honsotly fell in love with these guys because of how realistic their relationship was/is. I often thought of many of the problems I would have had trying to get married or adopting when I was with my ex for nearly 5 years. So its nice to see them as a couple facing real problems.
Love is Love. It might sometimes be covered with a bunch of other junk, but if you peel that back and get back to the love underneath it all the original love is still there.
I've been watching a bit of other VL scenes on the German site with other new characters in Mallorca. There are two young cute guys, Timo and Emilio, and Emilio seems to have a developing crush on an older hot blond priest. I wish there were more gay characters on VL. I think that Tristan, Rebecca's brother is a closet case and they haven't explored that yet. Olli and Christian need some new gay friends!
Olli made a self-fulfilling prophecy. There is a very true saying that "We create what we defend against" meaning if you're constantly fearful of something happening, it becomes self-fulfilling because you're putting energy into that outcome consistently. Olli kept saying his new mantra about how Christian is more into women and his marriage is a sham and putting that energy out there refusing to talk through it with Christian and that helped drive him away and to women.
It's funny to me that many comments here still lingering around the subject of sexual orientation. Love is love. Cheating is cheating. it is that simple. Yes, love should be cleverly simple, it just that human like to make it complicated.
Chrolli's love will never be the same & pure even if they get together again. What Christian did is like a deep scar which will stay with them always. Breaking up is the hardest but yet the best thing to do. Christian doesn't deserve another chance.
@maxxliu It's strange to me that you start off saying that love is love and should be cleverly simple and then say that Christian doesn't deserve another chance. Many couples recover from infidelity and go on to successful long term marriages. I'm not saying that cheating is good at all, but love is not always black and white. Relationships are complicated because people are complicated.

You don't just love people who never let you down or piss you off or you got a really shallow one dimensional love. You might feel differently if you were married for a long time and your life was intertwined completely with your partner. Love is full of compromises and communication is key. No communication means no marriage. The essence of what is means to love may be simple, but the act is def not.

it is not about the sexuality of Christian whether he is gay, bi or or straight VL want to inspire for audiences. It is truly a story about the love between two people and they are happen to be male. Christian does not have to identify a gender to love and be loved by Olli, it's the choice of heart and that choice brings me the last wonderful 3 years by. Now, just hope that the speak of heart will again, guide christian to get back his old-self, the guy who crazily in love with Olli.

Olli not wearing his ring anymore means in his mind he is a FREE MAN and can do whatever the hell he wants to do and something tells me that he will.
Olli may have said that it's over, but he and Christian are still married to each other, legally. until those divorce papers are drawn up and signed by both Oliver and Christian, then the marriage is not legally over.
But yes, it does look like Chrolli has reached the end of their relationship. I can only hope that during their time apart from each other, both men will learn from their mistakes and ultimately become better people from them.
Just wondering if anyone has gone back and watched older clips from about 3 years ago? I blame both boys for everything, but I find Christian ridicuously funny about the whole thing. 3 yrs ago he was telling Gregor to stop sleeping around and to forgive Sara & saw how cheating hurts people. I'm vaguely quoting Christian when he told Gregor that "He made vows, for better or for worse. Sara mademistakes, but they were still married and he should honor those vows." Anyone else notice the irony?
I'm sure the writers have something up their sleeves... but I doubt it's what we, as Chrolli lovers would want. It was a good run, but I know of a lot of relationships that ended (not quite like this) without any forewarning.
That feeling when you fell inlove with a "straight guy" who happens to have a girlfriend.. Yet you do not want to give up trying to make him fall for you, too.. That feeling that you have to somewhat hide it cos he's already committed to someone else.. That feeling when you finally made him realize your presence and then made him love you.. That's how Olli felt. He never cheated not even once the entire time they were together. He will do everything for Chris. But sometimes, it has to end.

It's rather amusing the way Christian barged in on Dana & Jessica and more or less demanded Olli's wedding ring. I loved the looks on Dana & Jessica's faces when Christian emerged out of Olli's room, realizing Olli had taken a bon voyage to parts unknown. LOL.

Have watched this episode quite a few times now and I get more frustrated each time. Understandable that Christian would be upset that Olli kept pushing him away but if you are married you fight for what matters and you don't give up by cheating. When he cheated each time on Olli it was a sorry and then he wanted to kiss and make up and forget that it happened. Betrayal does not go away that easy. He chose to be with Olli and he to marry him so be a man and take responsibility for your actions.
I really want them to get back together...but I think that is honestly too much to ask for, seeing that they probably won't ever...But what pisses me off is that Olli keeps on saying that he would rather see Christian with another man rather than a woman. This whole damned "oh he's with a woman instead of a man" crap pisses me off. Christian is bisexual. So is Olli to my understanding. Bisexual people in my experience don't give a shit who they are with in terms of gender. Some probably have a preference, but it's not that big of a deal. I'm really frustrating with the story making it out to be so much worse than if Christian were sleeping around with another guy.

He's saying that bisexual people don't care whether it's a male or a female that their partner cheats with, and that cheating with one gender shouldn't be any different from cheating with another gender, because it's all bad. I've never held that view. Cheating is cheating without regard to gender. My response was to his statement that bisexuals have no preference to gender regarding their sexual activities. Why bother with a "conventional" marriage?
@superxx57 If one gender is equal to the other in terms of the bonding, emotional, and sexual resonance, marriage, aside from polygamy, is really rather pointless. The likelihood of finding a second person with whom that special quality co-exists is potentially doubled by virtue of the availability and desirability of whatever sex is the opposite of the current partner. That seems to destine any bisexual relationship to increased stress and confusion if the new love interest isn't also bisexual.

The disintegration of this marriage is not because Christian is bisexual or because Olli was bisexual. It is because someone cheated on someone else and the person being cheated on was unable/unwilling to abide it. Far too much is being made of the gender of the person with whom Christian slept. It has clouded the true issue from the outset: the lack of respect and communication.

After watching this episode several times, I can only come to one conclusion. I think the writers of the show are trying to tell us viewers that Christian fell in love with Oliver Sabel, not just a man, if he can't be with Olli, he can't be with another man, that's why he's constantly cheating on him with the opposite sex. In a way it kinda makes sense, to Christian, its a way of respecting him but unfortunately for him Olli doesn't see it that way... Just my own analytical point of view.

Too late to cry now. At least all the Olli haters can now just appreciate the beautiful blameless, angelic Christian who can never do any wrong and who is never responsible for anything with having to put up with pesky Olli and all his "feelings" and expectations of fidelity, trust and loyalty.
As uset as I am in Christian, I'm even more upset at how little value folks hold for marriage. Something LGBT people have to fight for. Marriage is a sacred bond that shouldn't be treated lightly.

I think Christian and Oliver's breakup is more complicated than what people are saying. The whole Lilly thing hurt Christian a lot. Christian feels that Olli controls the relationship and doesn't really regard him as an equal. Sometimes men cheat because they want power to be in control. Olli wanted Christian to become a foster parent for a second time and that was just too much for him. Olli isn't perfect either don't people remember he smashed Christian and Coco's relationship.

I cannot lay blame on Christian or Oli. I am just enjoying the drama and loving the story as I feel frustrated and hope for a really good reconciliation at the end of it. Yes Christian did wrong, I feel not with Jessica though, there is a secret only Jess knows, but Oli too pushed Christian away. Who is to blame. I do not believe in seperations to heal a relationship they never work. Here's hoping for Chrolli again.

I took a trip to the past yesterday and watched some old VL stuff and guess what. Olli watched his boyfriend Tom kiss the ex and for consolation he had a few beers and spent the night with Jule, a woman. After some sulking and talking Olli confessed and, believe it or not, Tom forgave Olli. Having this in mind, I find it very hard to fully understand Olli`s behaviour. But maybe the writers don`t care enough to really research a character`s past. I hope Chrolli get back together soon.

I don't share Olli's point of view, I'd prefer my partner cheating on me with someone of the opposite sex, because it's harder to compare (and be found as lesser) than with someone of the same sax than me.
Also, you can't push someone away all the time and expect him to return all the time.
That said, YOU can't promise eternal fidelity and then throw it out the window as Christian did. Right now, even if I'm a Christian fan, he's more to blame than Olli.

I normally hate soaps espically the spanish ones cuz my mom was always watching them and they became so repetative. But I have honsotly fell in love with these guys because of how realistic their relationship was/is. I often thought of many of the problems I would have had trying to get married or adopting when I was with my ex for nearly 5 years. So its nice to see them as a couple facing real problems.

There are two young cute guys, Timo and Emilio, and Emilio seems to have a developing crush on an older hot blond priest. I wish there were more gay characters on VL. Olli made a self-fulfilling prophecy. There is a very true saying that "We create what we defend against" meaning if you're constantly fearful of something happening, it becomes self-fulfilling because you're putting energy into that outcome consistently. @markeeYT Chrolli is over. Christian screwing his co-worker Theresa and Olli taking off his ring and telling Christian that he is better off without him and to have a nice life, pretty much spells out BREAK UP to me.
Olli not wearing his ring anymore means in his mind he is a FREE MAN and can do whatever the hell he wants to do and something tells me that he will.

Olli may have said that it's over, but he and Christian are still married to each other, legally. until those divorce papers are drawn up and signed by both Oliver and Christian, then the marriage is not legally over.
But yes, it does look like Chrolli has reached the end of their relationship. I can only hope that during their time apart from each other, both men will learn from their mistakes and ultimately become better people from them.

Just wondering if anyone has gone back and watched older clips from about 3 years ago? I blame both boys for everything, but I find Christian ridicuously funny about the whole thing. 3 yrs ago he was telling Gregor to stop sleeping around and to forgive Sara & saw how cheating hurts people. I'm vaguely quoting Christian when he told Gregor that "He made vows, for better or for worse. Sara mademistakes, but they were still married and he should honor those vows." Anyone else notice the irony?

I'm sure the writers have something up their sleeves... but I doubt it's what we, as Chrolli lovers would want. It was a good run, but I know of a lot of relationships that ended (not quite like this) without any forewarning.

That feeling when you fell inlove with a "straight guy" who happens to have a girlfriend.. Yet you do not want to give up trying to make him fall for you, too.. That feeling that you have to somewhat hide it cos he's already committed to someone else.. That feeling when you finally made him realize your presence and then made him love you.. That's how Olli felt. He never cheated not even once the entire time they were together. He will do everything for Chris. But sometimes, it has to end.

A beautiful love has turned ugly. Christian started the destruction process, Olli continued it and christian insensitively finishes up!
Why the tears? if he had thought a little with his brain rather than his loins,we wldnt all be in pain.
Christian is totally lost without Olli an vice versa, I hope they can find their way back to eachother.

It's rather amusing the way Christian barged in on Dana & Jessica and more or less demanded Olli's wedding ring. I loved the looks on Dana & Jessica's faces when Christian emerged out of Olli's room, realizing Olli had taken a bon voyage to parts unknown. LOL.
Do Charlie and Rebecca do anything other than behave like annoying busybodies? Glad Olli is seemingly taking a break - he deserves one- but wherever he travels, hopefully he can get some pointers for learning how to not snap at Miriam.

awwwww ... both have made mistakes. Sometimes I'm quick to make judgments and not really understand people's actions. But the truth is that we do stupid things in tough situations. Sometimes we let our guard down or forget to fight. Or get tired of it. I'm not saying Christian is right in any of this ... I just know people makes mistakes. It's important not to forget that.

Have watched this episode quite a few times now and I get more frustrated each time. Understandable that Christian would be upset that Olli kept pushing him away but if you are married you fight for what matters and you don't give up by cheating. When he cheated each time on Olli it was a sorry and then he wanted to kiss and make up and forget that it happened. Betrayal does not go away that easy. He chose to be with Olli and he to marry him so be a man and take responsibility for your actions.

I really want them to get back together...but I think that is honestly too much to ask for, seeing that they probably won't ever...But what pisses me off is that Olli keeps on saying that he would rather see Christian with another man rather than a woman. We are all on a sliding scale of sexuality between straight and gay/lesbian,to me Christian is obviously bisexual because he has been intimate with a man/with women but i don't label people so that dosen't actually matter,Love is love no matter between what genders,i can understand Ollis POV that he would find it easier to emphasize with Christian if he had betrayed him with a man but in the end the easy betrayal/cheating/dis-respect for marriage vows/not fighting for Olli is the real killer

This whole damned "oh he's with a woman instead of a man" crap pisses me off. Christian is bisexual. So is Olli to my understanding. Bisexual people in my experience don't give a shit who they are with in terms of gender. Some probably have a preference, but it's not that big of a deal. I'm really frustrating with the story making it out to be so much worse than if Christian were sleeping around with another guy.

He's saying that bisexual people don't care whether it's a male or a female that their partner cheats with, and that cheating with one gender shouldn't be any different from cheating with another gender, because it's all bad. I've never held that view. Cheating is cheating without regard to gender. My response was to his statement that bisexuals have no preference to gender regarding their sexual activities. Why bother with a "conventional" marriage?

@superxx57 If one gender is equal to the other in terms of the bonding, emotional, and sexual resonance, marriage, aside from polygamy, is really rather pointless. The likelihood of finding a second person with whom that special quality co-exists is potentially doubled by virtue of the availability and desirability of whatever sex is the opposite of the current partner. That seems to destine any bisexual relationship to increased stress and confusion if the new love interest isn't also bisexual.

@daiselladarling Regardless of preference, you'll always come across at least one person whom you may find attractive after you get married. The only time it yields stress and confusion is if you pursue that attraction, or if you're not secure with you're marriage, which is the cause of any extramarital affair. Olli identifies as bi, and he stayed commited to his marriage with Christian. Bisexual people are just as capable of commiting to a monogamous marriage as anyone else, so isn't pointless.

@superxx57 What's pointless, debating the matter? What seems pointless to me is belaboring the matter of sexuality. The disintegration of this marriage is not because Christian is bisexual or because Olli was bisexual. It is because someone cheated on someone else and the person being cheated on was unable/unwilling to abide it. Far too much is being made of the gender of the person with whom Christian slept. It has clouded the true issue from the outset: the lack of respect and communication.
