@Kumansa21 well like he originally said in the beginning of the video; the song may never be released and if you listen closely, some of the chords he plays while he's talking match the ones in Christmas Lights. In the end I guess Coldplay compromised to combine the 2 together

@Ladanmft It was supposed to be Christmas 2010 but they're still working out kinks and haven't found all the songs they want on the album yet. No need to rush. 2011 is coming soon and so is the album. The wait for Viva La Vida was terrible too then they surprised us all with Prospekt's March. Hopefully they release an EP after this album too!

@realmadridfan8 Looking at how their albums are progressing (musically) they do seem very similar to The Beatles. But in reality, no one will match them. Bands these days get 3 albums out every 10 years (if we're lucky). The Beatles got 11 out in that time.

@SamuelEllmer and a load of shit songs. Sure they stumbled over some good ones, but you're bound to after 11 albums. Its just not realistic nowadays. Much more planning goes into albums now, and with a surplus of artists, its difficult for labels and artists to meet deadlines. Parlophone is also dealing with some debt though. In fact they really wanted Coldplay to release an album to ease some of their financial strain, but Coldplay weren't quite done with the album.
