Buy a Honda generator it's smaller and cheaper plus less weight then a home built Generator. pedal generator fine use. Though you want lifepo battery's they are low weight. Other wise you'll need a trailer and 72v set to get the power you need to carry lead acid bats. i had this idea already though different from yours too. Also if you got the cash you can get regenerative break so when slow down you recover some of that lost energy back into the battery's. a guy has made a electric go 210km
