  • RIP Jerry Robinson and Bill Finger, the real geniuses behind Batman and Joker.

Fuck that piece of shit bob kane.

  • The great thing about the joker is, in a script you wanna make the bad guy seem like he has the advantage to get the audience on the edge of their seats. The Joker doesn't hes just an idiot.

  • @mackishstyle actually he's not an idiot he's a genius, he's insain. There's a diffrence.

  • to the great Mr Jerry Robinson ... the man who helped bob Kane to create the greatest villain of all time the joker and what has wanna beans did to it they ruined it by creating the crap called Harley Quinn and guess what the crap is joker "s girlfriend ........

  • R.I.P. Jerry!

You created the greatest maniac in comics!!

  • thank god for jerry. a great man...

  • RIP Jerry

  • @iDraw3G Go to hell, Jerry Robinson fought tooth and nail to get Superman creators Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster a livable pension when they were at the end of their rope thanks to what DC put them through, and he and Bill Finger did more to contribute to the creation of the Batman mythos than Bob Kane ever did.

  • Rest in Peace, Jerry Robinson.

  • RIP man

  • RIP and thank you for giving the world the greatest villain of all time.

  • +RIP+ Jerry I love ya buddy. Thank you so much for creating the best villain ever!

  • Bobo had the original idea of the Best comic book character ever (Batman). But Bill and Jerry made the vision come true and exceeded everyone´s expectations on how to create ever-lasting heroes and villains.

  • Jerry Robinson:

Making us like the joker since 1940

  • What a crook! He has a picture of Conrad Viedt from "The Man Who Laughs" (1928) and a joker card on his desk and that's how he came up with the character. Bob Kane and Bill Finger already ratted you out, old man.

  • @jokerburnsgotham I believe Jerry Robinson and Bill Finger have never made any secret that "The Man Who Laughs" was one of their main sources for The Joker, although Bob Kane usually took the position that he created everything in the Batman mythos from The Joker & Robin to Alfred, making no mention of Bill Finger, Jerry Robinson, Dick Sprang or any of the ghost artists who worked on Batman.

  • @cha5 took kane decades to admit that finger had anything to do with the creation...he never said word one about robinson. kane was a real piece of work

  • I love you Jerry Robinson!

  • I heard Bill Finger thought up the Joker when he saw the silentr film "The Man Who Laughs".

  • I like to ask one question: How come in the comic books the Joker had black hair, but in the television series and the movies why did he have green hair?

  • The character had green hair in the comix as well. The highlights they used were green. That's the way they used to do hair in comix back then. I guess the concept was that hair was basically shiny,

  • Isn't Skirball a Jewish museum?

  • the creators of batman were jewish...its part of there heritage

  • woa...

  • more like THE best villain ever

  • @kylesullivan96

Possibly the liquid metal lad out of terminator 2 and Venom out of spiderman are also cool. But lets face it then 3 are the best villains ever. Shame venom was ruined in the film though.

  • Due to a last minute change Joker went from a one shot villain to a major reoccuring villain. So thank goodness nothing is final in comics until it get's printed.

  • Not even when its printed... I meen some villains have been killed a number of times and revived too.

  • Ok but I don't hear a lot of one shot villains that get revived mainly because they are mean't to be one trick ponies.

  • True

  • Jerry Robinson FTW. I'd love to go to that museum. <3

  • @harleenquin82, Jerry Robinson is now writing a grapic noveal about the Joker (and he's 87 years old!).

  • @vividwatch47 That's so fantastic! Will keep an eye out for it! Thanks. :)

  • Comic books looked so much better in the older days.

  • idk, I like the modern age ones more myself, not just because of the artwork, but because I find they have more complex and entertaining stories, but you really can't shame the golden are...

  • @HRVDNT watchmen came...

  • @HRVDNT They were also better when the characters didn't "die" one month come back the next month.

  • @HRVDNT you bet yes

  • The Joker the best villain ever!.

    Eric.

  • he is. funnny h how joker was supse to be killed off his original apperence and dc decided to keep him and look how far hes come

  • Skirball??

  • I definitely need to see that exhibit, but why is it at Skirball?
