Kiss was the biggest disappointment of my youth. I grew up in a pretty Christian household, having been raised by my grandparents, as such, I wasn't allowed to listen to a lot of good music. During visits with my father, I saw Kiss posters everywhere at his old apartment, and I thought their look was pretty awesome.

Then I put in one of their tapes. What a load of shit. At least this bands look also matches their sound and they're damn good musicians as well...so please, shut up.

This video is the perfect example of why some bands shouldn't attempt to cover other people's songs. Everything about this version destroys the meaning of the Sebadoh original, they've missed the point, they've missed it by a million miles. They've somehow managed to make a soulful heartfelt song completely souless and devoid of character.
