when he died i was only 11 days old and i didnt really exprience his humor but my parents would always show me tommy boy and 2 bad he died right after i was born
I remember Norm Macdonald saying how Chris never thought out himself as funny at all and how he was tired of hearing about Chris being compared to Belushi, because honestly Chris Farley was ten times funnier than Belushi ever was.
I remember the day Chris died. My best friend at the time called me, and I just started to cry. I was only 13, but he changed my humor and other's as well. I truly loved him, even without ever meeting the guy. Poor man couldn;t love himself. Miss you Chris, may you rest peacefully
@dannyd1572 jeez, what a terrible thing to say. Conan was one of the first to tell the news about Farley's death and was an uncomfortable moment for him because he actually knew and worked with Chris.
Chris Farley was funny as hell and died too soon. Why would you think that it would be easy to talk about his death so soon to people through T.V.?
@troma333 Like I said....Conan was still young and hadn't found himself yet. Take a look at all the tributes David Letterman and Carson gave to those who were close to them who passed. Sorry...not much of a Conan fan.
@dannyd1572 Fuck off u faggot how bout i stabb someone u care about to death and then tell u about it throw u in front of a camera and say well pay a tribute to them u'll see how fucking hard it is to talk about a friend who has just died cock sucker the guy just found out his friend died u dumb cunt what did you want him to do huh write a speech the guy was lost for words so he just spoke he was still in shock fuck head grow up faggot
@mickization I'm guessing by your verbal assault, and your video list of butt cracks, and young children hitting each other in the balls, that your pry not a very smart person.
@dannyd1572 Well at least i can write man what the fuck is pry second mate if u learn to read u'll see my channel is a request channel fuck head people leave request for vids and i give them the vids they want so get ur facts right bitch
@dannyd1572 Yeah cool man. That's exactly what you should be thinking about these tribute videos: How well one host reports the death of a friend compared to another host, and then judge it. What kind of asshole are you...
@dannyd1572 as you saw, Conan mentioned he just found out an hour before taping the show, of Chris's passing. So, maybe Conan was, um, taken aback by the news and left him still unsettled. Since they worked together at SNL, friends, etc. He had been doing Late Night for four years by this point, so I think it's safe to say he knew what he was doing, host-wise.
ugh. i was 13 when he died and i remember being so upset at the time. he was by far my favorite comedic actor at the time. thanks for uploading this, i had never seen it before. conan is the greatest.

So similar to John Belushi in the way he went... SNL, same age, drugs and drink. RIP Chris Farley.
SethHesio 1 year ago 7
@SethHesio And no coincidence, as Farley had been known to have admired Belushi and tried to emulate him, even to his sad end.

Hard to be touched by the tribute when Conan was so terrible at giving it. Chris is so missed. There will never be another Chris Farley.
