Look y'all. It just HAPPENS that all teams that season (3) have at least one local well-known person. (FYI, A.D.'s a freelance writer-director for TV, Neena's a model and Mai's an actress). They just happen to won the audition, not because they're celebrities. I don't know who started this whole "Anti Normal People" thing, but he/she got it all wrong.

TARA3 uses actors and models for ratings. BUT the race is still for real, it's not a fake race.

The real thing is that TARA3 does not MACTORS. It uses people from entertainment industry. Don't forget that A.D (Singapore) is a film director, which is completely from entertainment industry as well.

I believe that TARA3 didn't pick MACTORS from Singapore because no MACTORS from Singapore applied for the race. So they just pick the closest one, the film director.

It's definitely for rating purposes, which is what TV shows are all about. Can you imagine what the show's going to be like if they cast average Asians? I'm not dissing anyone here, I'm Asian too, but seriously, would *you* watch it if all 12 teams are madeup of the average Alis, Ah Mengs and Rajus? The silence, the grunts and the sometimes flat voice, the broken English OMG. I'm just seeing it as it is *shrugs*

5-stars video man. This really is a mactors-edition. 9 of the 10 teams are mactors except the Singapore team. (thank god, since I'm a Singaporean). TARA really SUCKS BIG TIME at their casting.
