I beat myself up about 100 times a day because of my sexuality and you make me feel more normal, more acceptable and more loved by God. So thank you :)
I have had a lot of trouble with my homosexuality. I didn't know what to do! I thought I was sin for being gay. I then tried to not believe i God. But I had to believe in something. So I turned in a Satanist. I thought, "If I'm a SIN....then it wouldn't be a problem if I was a Satanist". But I didn't want to be a satanist. So I went through a face of religions. I have been (first) a Catholic then a Satanist, Wiccan, Atheist, Christian, and so on! I was confuse big time!
Hands are purposed for what they are "purposed" for, yet to walk on ones hands would not be immoral, sinful or unnatural, but rather a natural variation of their function.
There are Christians who don't believe homosexuality to be sinful or immoral in all cases. And "natural" is often times a subjective term as evidenced by 1 Cor. 11:13-15
I'm straight but I feel for people who are confused about their gender and sexuality. Why didn't God juxg make us they way we were supposed to be? Why weren't we born into the sexes that we want to be? Shouldn't we be born into the bodies we were meant to be born in? For instance if your psychologically a woman but born a male why weren't you born as a woman?
Actually, I was asking a question. I'm confused at to why things are the way they are. I just don't understand why things happened the way that they happened.
@princessewhiterose Well, we don't always know why God makes people blind or gay or love basketball even though they're in a wheelchair. In fact, MOST people, in one way or another, feel deep down that they weren't born into the right body--some more than others. And we are not required to know why. We are just called to follow.
Hands are purposed for what they are "purposed" for, yet to walk on ones hands would not be immoral, sinful or unnatural, but rather a natural variation of their function. Looking at something outside of human anatomy, a hammer is "made" for hammering nails, yet would it be a violation of it's function to crack nuts? Obviously, not. Again, this is only if one is focusing on "homosexuality" as an "act" exclusively.
i used to be biased against gay people till watching your videos. i learned god doesnt talk about gay people, he has no bias, that if your gay its just that you werent just changed 1 day your just that way. thanks
you have no idea how this video has affected me. now i feel like i can live my own life and know that God loves me just as much. and your so right about the fact that we cant choose to be heterosexual or homosexual. praise god for what you are doing.
I disagree with engaging in homosexual behavior, but I respect the way you explained this and that you allowed other people to hold their views against homosexual behavior. The deaf example illustrated your point well.
@IcomeINpeaceisim That's a good question. Often, an issue will arise and people will respond with, "Well, if everyone were that way, the world would be awful." And that's true! However, that doesn't prove anything. For example, if everyone in the world were a farmer, that would be a horrible situation. No doctors, teachers or even people making farm equipment. But that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with farmers. No, gays can't reproduce, but being a minority, that's not a problem.
@GayChristianNetwork Do you think gays would be a minority if heterosexism did not predominate our society? Would the numbers of gays, straights and bi people be more equal percentage wise if sexual orientation were not an issue (morally, spiritually or otherwise)?
@GayChristianNetwork Being gay doesn't mean being sterile. A lot of gay people have children. They just don't go around making kids accidentally... for the most part. If this all-gay-people-on-an-island-and-all straight-on-another scenario was true, all I can see happening is population control. People, gay or straight, want kids, and if they want kids, whether they're sexually attracted to the opposite sex or not is irrelevant. They'll just make it happen.
There's six -- approaching seven billion of us; we are artificially managing our culture, given the fact we've far surpassed our natural quota. We consume much, much more than requisite for our survival, yet here you are suggesting a homosexual population could overwhelm a general human-overflow? Is this a joke? Have you examined one statistic on such a topic? You shall find <1% (6.8 billion / 100) accommodates a natural support for <4 billion. Remember? Gluttony is among the deadliest sins.
I think God or whoever in anyone's belief (even atheists you can use evolution since it's in our favor for survival) created homosexuality to solve the human population issue. I mean look at us we're in the billions! We could use some population control before we over populate and end up dying trying to support so many people on this planet. Someone had a game plan preset for the future when we became to advanced for our own good. So thank you gay people! :D Sorry if my comment offended anyone.
@ArashiTsurugi I wanted to I agree with your comment. I'm gay and I feel the same way. It may seem harsh to say it but look at the world the overpopulated countries. Look at america today and our failing economy. Blame it on whatever you like but America is in a struggle because we can't support our overpopulation.
God made woman from the rib of Adam, a genetically modified man, a womb man. Get over it Christians. Were all Homo!
Eze 16:49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
Nothing about natural sexual identity. Is Ezekiel a liar, would he have mentioned natural sexual identity if it was a sin?
You make so many good points! If it's o.k. with you, I'd like to use some of your material when discussing these issues with others. Thank you, and God bless you for your work.
are you saying handicapped and homosexuality are very similar, i agree nothings wrong with the fact we were born homo, but why do you talk down at me like im stupid? O_o
To reduce a relationship to only sex is wrong. Ppl enter into relationships for many reasons: companionship, love, create a permanent family (of 2 people, maybe children later), etc.. Sex is only a small part of it. To say sex is only for reproduction reduces us to animals. The Adam and Eve argument is silly. God wanted to populate the earth with humans, so the logical choice was a man and woman. BTW, God didn't create poodles or boston terriers either in Genesis, so it wrong to own these dogs?
@yelocab01 he created all kinds of animals. I always thought he created all of them! But you"re right. We can own them. God wants us to love his creations, after all.
i would also say that life wouldnt be at a balance without gay people. everyone would be the same. why dont we all be just a bunch of grey blobs? thats what if it would be like if there where only straight people
if god allowed gay people on the earth then there is a reason for them being here. if god didnt allow gays/lesbians/bi's etc. then they wouldnt exist.
This is so enlightening!! I think yer answer is applicable not only to christianity but to Judaism, Islam, and other religions too. I believe God's love to His creations is infinite.
This world is already overpopulated as it is. So, just imagine if every single man and woman was straight, married and had even just one child. It would be insane.

hey i have a question.
dont gay people need straight to survive since gay people cant reproduce and be gay.
example - all gay people live on an island and all non gays on another island.
over time all the gays will die off.
given non gays will make more gays you still need non gays to produce gays.
i know this is a way out there question but i wonder what you think about it?
btw i am not gay and not religious and i have nothing against gays or religious people.
