this happened to me just hold on the home button into it appears the iTunes Logo and then sync it back with your computer (but your ipod will be erased)

I have a 16gb iPhone that will not cut on unless its plugged into the computer or wall outlet. When it does it shows a plug into itunes screen not the usb cable that goes to the computer but the end that goes to the iphone. It will go into dfu and recovery mode however when it reboots during the recovery process it just shuts down and doesn't cut back on. Sometimes it does different things but i keep getting either error code 1604 or 1611

If ur talking about youtube videos, my ipod does the same thing. It's not that your ipod can't play the movie, it's that it's not loading it, try turning ur wifi off in the settings page, and then turn it back on. If that doesn't solve it, just repeatedly try watching the video eventually it will load, or just get closer to ur router to get a better signal.

**WAIT** There's a simple solution to the problem of not being able to sinc .ipas through itunes. After your done with ssh-ing your phone or touch and install mobile installation (after removing the original), the one thing you NEED to do is turn your device off completely and turn on again. Simple, but effective.

I've had my itouch jailbroken, it all went well the only thing however, and even after doing that overwrite of the mobileinstall in the proper folder and changing permissions, If i load in a game or whatever via "ipa", the game/app logo appears in the menu however when i go to click on it it keeps telling me that it cannot load the application/game am i missing something or is this common at the moment?

guys, instead of deleting the mobileinstallation, the originial one, rename it mobileinstallation.bak the 503,000 one, and then drag the new one in and set permission 755, then reboot, i dont think you should delete the orgininal mobileinstallation, just rename it mobileinstallation.bak and but the one you downloaded in, hope that helps

you can easily just get all the apps from mobile/applications/[bunch of crap]/[appname].app and stick them in stash/applications.[bunch of crap]/ and then change permissions to 775 assuming u have the needed "Documents" directory in already

this is how i fixed weDict from crashing every time i turned off my itouch
