Sorry her renditions did nothing for me.. She didn't even do the signature whoooo's patti does in over the rainbow.. I have never like J.Hud that much...no versatility to me...she hit the high g wayyyy to early on over the rainbow...i just didn't like it...sorry...nobody can do Patti songs really because patti just sings in a way that is just really hard to keep up with.

@leshager2009 Maybe if you had a brain you would realize she did this live without any practice and Patti had hers recorded and was singing longer than Jennifer at the point she recorded this. It is tough for someone like Jennifer that is in demand so much for her voice and only fresh on the scene. Everything takes time and it is not like the watered down bullshit like beyonce, ashanti, magic in the recording studio covering their bad voices.

Sorry but both of these performances were not good. Just because a person has a "BIG" voice does not mean that have a "Good" one she needs to learn more control. She becomes FLAT too often then not. She need vocal training. FANTASIA IS MUCH BETTER with her delivery, stage presence and of COURSE HER VOCALS ARE BETTER. Which is why Fantasia won American Idol.

I liked Fantasia better. Her delivery is excellent. Jennifer has a great voice, but she comes across as a little boring on stage. I guess after Fantasia ripped shit up, what else can you do... well, they got some chicks, in Yolanda, Fantasia and Jennifer to really sing these songs like they're supposed to be sung. Tasia was the better of the two during AI. But, what nobody can deny is that when comparing "AI Jhud" and Jhud today--the progression is absolutely mind boggling & she wasn't a joke back then.
