thank you so much for this video.....i remember as a kid watching Dangerman and The Prisoner and being glued to the box till they finished. even at a young age i had a crush on this man....but i had no idea that he died..(how did i miss that)...sleep peacefully patrick you really was a one off!!x
Today is 13/1/11 and I can't believe it is exactly 2 yrs since Pat left us. I lost my Father-in-law over Xmas & I am reliving this awful sense of loss. To sum up my immediate emotions when viewing 'The Prisoner' 30 yrs ago (which never leaves us but is never recaptured) it would be the excitement of 'heavy brass' accompanied by the wonderment of what our hero is going to go through THIS week! Since 'The Jailbird' I draw 'Oscar & Wild' for the 'Bugle' - watch out for a tribute to Pat soon! BCNU
In 1977, at the age of 49, McGoohan played a doctor in the television series "Rafferty." Rafferty was a retired colonel who, after 20 years in the army was entering private practice. Rafferty was a brilliant diagnostician, and most of the episodes are more like detective stories as he tried to figure out what was wrong with his patients. I'm not sure, but I think he had a dog named Rover (been a long time since I watched it). Thank you for making a wonderful tribute.
Beautiful work Jack, brought a tear to my eye. A very individual tribute, To a very individual actor. Patrick McGoohan was a very unique actor, this is how much I like his work. Even if he is in a show or movie that does not interest me,if Patrick McGoohan is in it,I am still compelled to watch it in full, regardless of what it is about. No matter how big or small his role may be. But then again,I like a lot of his work anyway.
Thanks Jack, this video tribute is a thing of great beauty, worthy of a man like Patrick McGoohan. He was an enigma and more power to him for that. Thank God someone came along with the courage and integrity to refuse to ever pander to the expectations of the media. And we loved it. You've taken your secret to the grave, Patrick, as is only fitting!

Jack, I'm sad about his death!!! Have read it in Wikipedia! But many thanks to you for the honour you give "our" Patrick!!
Have seen him mostly as the "bad" guy in "Columbo" (loved this series so much)!! One of the most brilliant actors ever!!
Thanks again to you - as ever btw -, my dear Jack,
Yours
faithful friend,
