  • Awesome!!!! I had this same idea, and you're the first person I've seen actually make it work. I have a unique situation in that I'm offgrid, and electricity is an issue, and those woodfired setups are crazy expensive. I had a couple questions though-does it freeze where you live? And do you remove the pump/heater after use if it does freeze? How many l/gpm is that pump? Great job bro!!!

  • @OffgridArmy Hey man, glad you like it. Yes it freezes where I am, but the heater has a drain valve thats easy access, and the pump is easily drained through the inline strainer. I do have quick releases on all the lines to make them easier to work with though. I'm not sure on the pump capacity, but its more than enough for the 3gpm water heater. There are a lot of 12v options you could use! (I'm guessing you're on solar?)

  • orr you could just get an mspa or lay z spa for £260 / $350 ( i guess thats about right ) :P

  • @mariflak Haha, thanks for the comment. Sorry the letters were so small, if you make if full screen it's easier to read!
