Ten years ago everyone who watched thought it was real because we were ignorant, now the internet is widely available so its impossible for anyone to believe its real. Now the only level of legitimacy is the CARD being played that "it hurts to wrestle". It's the only way wrestlers can make themselves what they do is legit, when it's an obvious fakery. The fact of the matter is its a game, its playing, its putting on a SHOW of pain.

The vast majority of wrestling moves cause pain and injury when done CORRECTLY...the risk factor shoots up when the moves are botched, but the fact remains that there's no way to "painlessly" get slammed through a table, take a steel chair to the back, or get sliced open with a concealed razor. Oh, what's that? You thought the blood was fake? Aw, that's cute. Now, are you through embarrassing yourself here, or is there anything else you'd like to be wrong about?

1) Getting slammed through a table...hurts. Try it.

2) Taking a chair to the back...hurts. Try it. Or watch Hogan-Earthquake from 1990...Earthquake takes a chair shot, and within seconds huge red welts form all the way up his back.

3) Slicing your forehead open with a razor... hurts. Try it. Many wrestlers have a lattice of permanent scars on their forehead from blading HUNDREDS of times.
