Other than amazing strength that is the whole point of amsteel blue tow ropes. no stretch, no stored energy. If they do break they fall straight to the ground with no recoil. Therefore no flying dangers.
Pretty stupid if you ask me. Why wasnt' the hitch pin IN the whole on the JD? Looked like it was about to slip out. What if the pin that bent -broke? What if the weld DID break. Somebody could've got dead.

Thats amazing! I have amsteel blue on my atv winch, 3k lb, never a problem. This vid just proves how good the stuff is.
