Ive been on the SCT for years but never explored the eastern side much before mile 18 or so. Interesting stuff in that area it appears, makes me want to explore it. If you get a chance, check out some of the more remote territory to the west, its quite beautiful.

Don't you mean the Silver "Comet" Trail.
I ride on it in the first 25 mile area every weekend.
