HEllo. My name is Sara and i go use this activity in my final project for school. i'm not blind but i want to the people know more about this activity, and give more attention for blind people.
I played that sport 2 days ago and I know, how it is to can't see anything. You have to hear the ball and specially trained players work then with sonics. How Bats. It's interessting. And I salute them. They can throw the ball with ca. 85km per hour in a 10meter large (small) playing field. It's a miracle for us how they practise,
i love goalball! i have assistant coached a high school team for three years--I wish my players could actually experience a game like this in person, it would give them so much motivation.
and i agree with the poster about how this should be an actual sport in the Olympics. i am sighted, and have tons of sighted friends who LOVE to play. it is so competitive and requires so much skill--a lot of athletes would be greatly challenged.
it was great to watch. kickass skills. i just wish it was not a "paralympic games". EVERYBODY could join in with their eyes covered and it was real olympics. ofc, since the olympic committee is a maffia, they would not allow it. so i think these girls are too good for the olympic games.
It might be because the blind are at a huge advantage because their audition (hearing) is incredible. But I wish it had a bigger audience. This is an amazing sport and I'm seeing it more and more in High School gym classes.
haha what is this

Blind persons are specialy trained to hear more than you. In a Labyrinth normal people search the right way. Blind persons hear the right way.
