Ever since the end of ZOE1 where you see how awesome Anubis is, the only thing I wanted to do was battle Anubis on even ground in a big Zero Shift battle. So when I finally get to said battle at the end of ZOE2, ADA finds it logical to remind me about Zero Shift. I laughed first time I played this lol.

Hey, if Zero-Shift has a speed of Sub-light then it must go almost 300.000 kilometers/hour. Well, if we should travel at light speed (300.000 Km/h) then presure what is creating will make us 70 years older after 1 day O_o

I think Anubis should've had it's own, independent AI. Like ADA, except able to control Anubis entirely. Give it the Corrupted AU 313 voice from MP3 and BOOM! Instant mecha god of death.

@tyrant351 Anubis did have its own AI, according to the Japanese source material. The AI is called DELPHI. But what influence DELPHI had on Nohman, or whether Nohman even used DELPHI to pilot Anubis is unknown. My guess is that DELPHI was around, but Nohman didn't really interact with it as much as Leo and Dingo did with ADA.

It's probably just some transition filler, but I've been trying to hunt down that little music bit that starts really coming in at 9:10 . Also that small interaction between Dingo and Ken is one of the best throughout the game; her simple facial expression and voice acting (yes, decent DUBBED voice tones) shine through a little bit.

I remember this game had an insane amount of special effects and particles. Technical wise they said this can only be done on the ps2 where other consoles, even xbox cannot come close into mimicking these effects.

@QuanTzuBlueDragon In a sense, it does. The game, imho, does not emphasize what happens clearly enough. Basically, Jehuty takes the Metatron from Anubis after nearly destroying it and recovers a little. The reason that there is a fight AFTER this one is because Anubis uses some of the huge supply amount of Metatron from Aumaan. And, because Metatron is radioactive, Nohman get's a little crazy. After all, how else can you explain Nohman hissing mid-fight?

@DarkX64 Hell over the coarse of the game Nohman starts to lose it. 1st battle the man is sane no doubt, 2nd battle his skill as a runner degraded slightly,no longer giving out ass whoppings like its's a holiday, 3rd his reaction time hit the fan, where the first and second he zero shifted the instant you got close to do damage, wile in the 3rd he lets you smack the shit out of him, last fight he lost it all together, acting like a complete retard with a overpowered mech.

Actually we can hold down the charge button when we're teleporting using Zero Shift,so that everytime when we appear right after Zero Shift,we can always land a charge slash on the enemy's face.It's not hard when you think about it...

This was my favorite boss battle. It was so f ' ing difficult to beat when I first played. When I did the extras, I played it so much that I could beat anubus in less than 1 and 1/2 minutes (with damaged jehuty). Just too awesome.

I have recently started replaying this but in jpn(i did the eng ver. 3x so before you jump to conclusion) I have to say to this day after like 4 or 5 years because i think it came to the US in '03 I still really enjoy this game. Yeah, the camera sucks for the last battle, but the game has an awesome story line, good graphics, fun gameplay and more mobility than shitty regular mech games that failed. So the game rules in other words, I think you should play the 1st and 2nd a few times to enjoy the ownage.
