I work at a copyshop right now and we can also scan big and heavy paper at high resolutions, but it's definitely not so expensive..

You just throw all the pages in the machine and bang, it's going to work a bit and it will be done in about 5 - 10 minutes, not sure how many pages you guys had to scan)

That is crazy, How much does Kinko's cost to scan all of that, plus do they even have scanners big enough? You guys should consider buying a Ledger Paper/Large Format Scanner for future volumes. I use my Brother MFC-6490CW scanner/printer to scan art, it costs about $300 and it works great! It goes up to 11 x 17in and even does the Japanese size formats.

Anyways, I can't wait to read it!
