Honestly, Photoshop retouching is the standard worldwide. It's not an insult to the girl in question necessarily (well, as a rule - this was a bit rude), it's just what's done to prep the photos in terms of evening out color, skin tone, and fixing lighting and other things.

Totally, i've got lumps and bumps - but i don't want to be a model. I think what people don't get, is that they just want her to be in proportion. If the clothes don't fit, the clothes don't sell. Look at how dreadful those shorts looked at that shoot where she was an astronaut. Who would have bought those, on the basis of that picture? Plus she's put on weight since then. Maybe they should have put through Caris and given her a shot, at least she showed the commitment to tone up.

disgusting is a strong word. the standard size for models is around 0-2. maybe 4. demelza, is "normal people" size (around 6/7). so yeah, for MODELING (clothes hanger imitation) she is big. she won't be able to wear a lot of things
