@toomanypetzfan They just have similar names. Aside from the fact that there is monsters in both, they aren't that alike. Pokemon is revolved around a world where Trainers Catch, Train, and Battle the Pokemon, along with getting the Gym Badges. And Digimon is revolved around a "Digital" world where people make friends with their Digimon, and try to save the "Digital" world from an evil power. They do have some similarities, but not as many as some would think, lol.
