@iAppleTech2 that is because your router is set up to change your ip address every 24 hours. a solution to that would be to reserve an ip address for your computer so that when it changes it stays the same (or just plain deactivate dynamic ip addresses, which is less secure though)

@iMzSlash It will work over 3g and other people's wifi if you can port forward your network. If you just create the network it will only work on your wifi, so you might wanna look into port forwarding the network.

@giokanaan9 Go and show all hidden files. Delete the .siriproxy folder on ubuntu. Copy code back into the proxy. It should work. Sometimes people say it works when you start from command 9. I don't use the ubuntu proxy anymore.. I purchased a siri server

If you're getting an error that says siriproxy: No such file or directory Make sure you are in the right directory. To change directories use the cd command. e.g. CD SiriProxy. If you restart Ubuntu, or go into another directory, you will not be in the same directory that contains SiriProxy.

siriproxy server

When you close the terminal, you have to repeat these steps to get it back running again. Let me know if this works someone. Thanks

@TheRockydt This is a common issues, since you changed the dns it only talks to your computer and not with the router for internet. For now you just have to switch back and forth.

HI, i followed your directions, i got siri proxy working properly and everything, when i put the certificate on my iPhone 4S and then did all the changes you asked and tested everything on the iPhone 4S it says siri proxy works fine, then i followed the directions accurately on my iPhone 4 and siri wont work, On the siriproxy side i get all sorts of commandfailed errors when i try to use siri on the iPHone 4, but when i try on the iPHone 4S siri proxy shows no errors.

@leonelsp310 Your 4S does not have to be jailbroken. It has to be connected just to exchange the certificates, and then you can take it off the server and use regularly.

@danskins I would restore your device. Because of the 4S jailbreak, siri will be easily ported to non a5 processors without spire and a proxy host.
