@habahotcakes Yup and it's free :DDD All you have to do type in Myst uru live in google and then go to the website, download the game. It's a quick download. Also they will ask u to make username and password. Then you can start your game :) I suggest watching a youtube video about uru live before you play so you have an idea how it works, it's like the myst series but you get to talk and work with other players. I hope u have fun

Ah, how I love this game. I remember playing it every day with my dad when I was... I don't even remember how old I was. This game is truly amazing. Everything about it is absolutely amazing. I don't remember ever completing the game with my dad, so right now I am going to try again... A whole new attempt at this game. At an age where I can more appreciate the nostalgia, and when I am able to understand and complete it myself. Looking back at it, I adore the vagueness of this game.

I completed all Myst Games without cheats. Except Riven, and that for such a silly thing it still pisses me off today. You know the power temple? Yeah the thing which slides down over the grid where you put to the marbles to activate the linking domes? I didn't think to click the white circle. For about 2 months. It never occurred to me. I worked out all the hard things, the Dni language, the numeracy system, all just to fail on pressing a white button in front of my face!!

Myst is an extreamly realistic game about exploration, observation, and thinking. It is set in first person perspective, adding to the realism. The first game, Myst, is not very interactive with other characters until the end where you meet Atrus. Riven is very different and yet the same, my favorite so far. The first 4 games are fanominal but the 5th I think they could have done better.

as a general explanation for it.....it's an adventure game series! You explore the worlds you are in or travel to others, solve puzzles, enjoy the scenery, music and especially the story! Puzzles require brain power (which tons of other games today forget to ask you to use), you really need to get your neurons up and working to beat the games! Also it's not boring but it's not recommended to people who go epileptic if they don't kill something every 5 minutes. You need to chill, relax and think!

The number 7 was saying "7-Get persecuted for enjoying such a subtle, pretty and cerebral game in this age of low brow, blockbuster gore-fests", and the picture represented guys chasing the player with torchs, saying "HE LIKES TO THINK ?! Myst is an incredible game, as the entire series. You should try it, then you could decide if it's your thing or if it's just boring :)

I remember playing Myst with my little brother and dad on our old computer back when I was in first grade. We worked on it for days and had a large yellow notepad we wrote all the clues down on. I'm sad to say that people who didn't grow up with it don't really appreciate the great series it was, and still is.

Totally agree with you,mate! This is THE game. I mean...you don't just play "Myst",you experience "Myst". But I think that "Myst V" was a step backwards. The game isn't as good and as deep as "Myst IV" It had many original and new things,but overall it somehow just didn't fit with all other games,imo.

I adore MYST!!! I love the games (so hard though!). The only thing that I can find to complain about is the fact that there are NO REAL PEOPLE ACTING in the fifth game.. Which really sucks, since having people acting was one of the things that made Myst special..

Actually Ubisoft made Myst IV one of the better post Riven games, and Cyan developed Myst V and was published by Ubisoft. So you can thank Cyan Worlds for Myst V.

Im usre i used th wrong words for it but the firts few myst games seemed to use photo's taken of 3d models stored on the cd which you naviagted through,but looking at hte first myst im guessing it could easily run like other 3d games now. allowing you to move about very fluidly

I thought it was awesome. Myst is pretty much all cool parts so if someone does a trailer of their favorites it's going to be subjective.

I honestly wish I had the time and the patience. Riven was the first PC game I ever owned. The graphics have always been great but the soundtracks and atmosphere in these games is just unparallelled. If you spend a lot of time (i mean a lot) at adventure games then definately give them a shot.

Myst is a series of puzzle games, where you go through different world via 'linking books'. The graphics are great and the story is well done. I would encourage you completely to get them! There are 5 main games (Myst, Riven, Exile, Revelation, and End of Ages), then 1 sub game (Myst URU, with an upgrade of Path of the Shell) that tells more of the story, but not the main plot. Go for it!

I'm currently trying to solve Riven. It's really difficult, but really exciting! Can you even imagine how much work it took for the creators to come up with all those fantastic puzzles and storylines?
